Church Bells

"No!" He insisted, he was still completely clueless, though. "If you're sleeping anywhere, it's on the couch!"

"Only if you join," he said with a pronounced eyebrow waggle.

He laughed humorlessly.

"Funny. Get out of my bed. I'm tired and I don't want to deal with you anymore."

"I make a nice pillow," he insisted, getting underneath the covers.

"No!" He nearly attacked Priestly as he tried to pull away his sheets. "You're getting them dirty!!"

"They already are, though," he teased. "Why don't we dirty them together?~"

He flushed red as he pulled his blankets away from Priestly.

"Shut up! I don't...Just get out of my bed!" He said, flustered.

"No, I'm quite comfy."

He groaned.

"...You're really difficult, you know." He said in exasperation. He threw the blankets back on his bed and headed for the bathroom attached to the bedroom. "I'm going to get a shower, and by the time I'm finished, I expect you to have left my house."

"You'll be disappointed," he said brightly.

He glared one last time before he turned and headed for the bathroom, closing the door and being sure to lock it.

Priestly waited patiently for him, stripping out of all his clothes.

Mars returned shortly after, his hair braided instead of in a ponytail. He was wearing, of course, a cute nightgown. What else?

Again, he was so unused to people in his house, he almost forgot about Priestly again, until he saw him, of course...

In his underwear, on Mars's bed.

"Hello~" he said goodnaturedly.

He stared for just a second, before he started shouting. Again.

"What do you think you're doing?!" He screeched. "You're dirtying my bed! My sheets were just cleaned!!"

He let out a noise of exasperation and then kicked his dresser. Poor dresser.

"Come and cuddle," he said simply, beckoning Mars closer.

Mars, in turn, did the exact opposite.

"Never mind, you can sleep in my bed; I'll sleep on the couch." He grumbled, as he exited his room.

"We're sleeping on the couch?" he called, standing up.

"I'm not sleeping with you!" He shouted back. "Leave me alone!"

He pulled a blanket off of the back of the couch and curled up in.

"Goodnight!"

"Goodnight!~" called Priestly sweetly. "There's still plenty of room on the bed!"

Marsy just grumbled about how he'd have to wash his sheets, as he shifted and got comfortable on the couch.

The next morning, Priestly awoke on the couch with a smile; in the middle of the night, he had moved Mars to the bed instead.

When Mars did wake up, he had a panic attack and ended up falling out of his bed. After all, hadn't he been sleeping on the couch? In a substantially worse mood than he was the previous night, he trudged into the living room and into the kitchen, praying that the strange man he'd encountered the day before had all just been a bad dream.

Priestly stood in the kitchen, shirtless and eating some cereal.

"Good morning, partner!~"

He leaned his head against the counter and considered banging it against said counter until he passed out. Instead, he quietly made himself some tea, hoping that Priestly would take the hint and just leave him alone.
