Leopard Lurves His Brotha

When he was alone with Suki, James whispered in her ear.

"...I don't suppose I could pay you off?" he asked.

She rose an eyebrow.

"Excuse me? Am I not pretty enough?" She looked offended, but she was mostly just playing with him. "I'm good enough for your brother."

He rolled his eyes.

"I don't like women. Tell him and I'll kill all three of you; shut up and you walk away with five hundred." Much to James's relief, keeping cool away from his brother was much easier. "I suggest the two of you stop coming near him if you don't want to get hurt--I have to kill him. And I will do it."

"That's alright, Leopard doesn't like women, either." She flashed him a smile, holding out her hands. "I want my money in cash, and I want it within a week. Otherwise, I'll tell Leopard about your little crush on him~"

She grinned, stretching her arms and flaunting her chest.

"Crush?" he asked emotionlessly. "I'm incapable of that. Just ask anyone I work with." He glanced around the room.

"In any case, the money's in my pocket, but we should at least pretend to be doing something for at least an hour."

She rolled her eyes.

"Right." She held out her hand. "Pay me, and we can talk for an hour. I'll even tell you some secrets about Leopard~"

"I'll pay you six hundred when I get to my clothes," he said without hesitation. "Now talk."

"Good." She smiled. "Well, Leopard has never slept with either of us, you know. We're actually not even working; we come over because we like him."

She giggled. "He's really sweet, and not who you think he is. You really shouldn't be so hard on him, all he talks about is you. All the time."

"What does he say?" he demanded. What kind of slander could his corrupted older brother possibly be spouting?

"No, I can't." She replied, laughing. "Six hundred isn't enough; Leopard would kill me if I told you."

"One grand," he said without hesitation. "Tell me, now."

She grinned. This was such a score. Yuna would be delighted.

"Oh, he loves to talk about how he's going to find you and you two are going to make a nice, peaceful life together like you had before. Mostly he tells us stories about when you two were kids. Oh, and he's always going on about your hair. He loves redheads."

James's expression didn't change, but he self-consciously grabbed at a strand of his hair.

"...He's either stupid, or he's lying," he said finally.

She shrugged.

"Well, whatever. We've wasted...half an hour. Can we just call it good?"

"Tell my brother it was because you got exhausted, or something," he said. "A thousand should cover that much."

She shrugged.

"Alright. Also, he's bigger than you are." She hurried out of the room, moving back to where Leopard and Yuna were. Leopard hurriedly turned off Lifetime.

"So, how was it?" He asked Suki. She winked at him, but said nothing.

"That was boring," said James. "I'm getting dressed and leaving--next time, actually fight me, would you? This was sickening. He pulled on his underwear, glaring at his brother.

Leopard grinned.

"Come on, stay! We can watch a movie together or something!"

"Why would I watch movies with a criminal?" he asked incredulously, wrinkling his nose.

"You mean your brother! Why would you watch movies with your brother? 'cause I'm awesome!" He grinned. "Come on, we can watch a horror movie together."

"If you try to pull anything, I can assure you the other bulge in my pants is my pistol," he said irritably. Pulling on the rest of his clothes, he slipped Saki a wad of bills as he sat down on the couch a good few inches from Leopard.

"I will humor you in exchange for a proper duel."

"Okay, girls, I know you don't like horror movies, so I'll see you tomorrow." He grinned and waved as Yuna and her girlfriend left.

"Silent Hill it is!" He proclaimed, turning on his TV and XBox so he could start up the disc already in there. He didn't plan this or anything.

"So, how was Yuna?" he asked. "That is, if you even slept with her."

"She was okay. I prefer Saki." He smiled. "She's the best. Anyway, just watch the movie. Oh, and if you get scared, I'll be sure to hold you~"

He laughed, though he was being serious.

"How would you know if Saki's good if you don't sleep with her?" he asked pointedly. "Do you just hear rumors?"
