My Roommate Plays With Dolls

"...I called you a sick freak already, right?" He asked, just to make sure.

Now, why would Yuri need a doll of someone to be so precise...?

He nodded.

"Yes, because I haven't heard that before--try something more original." He began carefully stitching letters onto the tiny nametag.

"The hell do you use those goddamn things for, anyway?" He asked, glancing at Yuri.

Yuri merely smiled.

"They're my friends."

"Really. You said you didn't have friends."

"They're not very real, now are they?"

"No, but creeps like you usually think they are."

Yuri glared at him.

"I am quite connected to reality, Blair."

He rolled his eyes.

"Oh, good for you."

Mildly irritated, he stood up.

"Is there a reason you don't like me? I mean a real reason--not just bogus rumors about Satanism."

Blair pointed his wooden spoon at Yuri.

"You. No one knows a fucking thing about you. Reason enough for me to hate you." He replied, shoving the spoon back into the batter. "So yeah. I do have a 'real' reason. As if the rumors weren't enough."

"...Then what do you want to know?" he asked, somewhat taken aback.

"I don't." He replied, pouring the batter into a rectangular container.

"...So you want to hate me?"

"I sure as hell don't want to like you." He used the spoon to perfectly even out the batter.

Groaning, Yuri walked to his room; he came out a few minutes later, carrying a doll that looked like a girl with glasses. He threw it at Blair's head and ran back to his room, calling, "Be careful or I'll curse you!" before he slammed the door.

Blair jumped and nearly dropped the doll into his cake. Luckily, he caught it just in time. Putting the spoon down, he examined the doll.

Voodoo? Stupid, but plausible. Everything was plausible. Curse...Curses...Was this was Yuri meant? Was Yuri an alternate?

Blair put the doll down on the counter and shoved his cake into the oven. Setting the timer, he headed into the living room for some good ol' telly.

Yuri pulled out his Blair doll again; after a simple transfer of power, he decided it was time to experiment.

"Blair," he whispered into the doll's ear.

Blair frowned deeply.

"Not you again." He hissed.

"...Relax," he sighed quietly. "I'm not the voice from before."

Blair blinked.

"...you aren't? Then who the hell ARE you?"

"...A friend," he whispered on a whim. "I've been watching you."

He rolled his eyes.

"Oh, please. The fuck do you want?"

"...Why are you so mean?"

"...mean?" He asked, confused.
