When Frederich Met Hayden

"...please don't."

He rolled his eyes.

"Why, because I'm inferior to Marilyn?!"

"Because I don't want to be like you."

He scowled, his face instantly darkening.

"...What's wrong with me?"

He frowned.

"For some reason you seem to want to make me enjoy life."

"What the hell is wrong with that?!" he exclaimed, incredulous.

"Isn't it obvious?" He replied.

He rolled his eyes.

"I could ask you the same question about a lot of things but no--in this case, it isn't freakin' obvious."

Frederich shrugged.

"Why should I live?"

"You were born weren't you?" he asked, as though it were painfully obvious.

"I never asked for this." He replied, scowling slightly.

"Neither did I!" replied Hayden immaturely. "And I screwed up, too. But ya know what--I'm making the best of it, and I AM FABULOUS."

"But I don't want to." He said stubbornly.

"Do it anyway, you baby!"

Frederich pouted.

"No."

"Come on," he said, hiding a smile, "I'll make you a bet."

"...what is it?"

"If you can experience life--and I mean really experience it--and you still hate it, I'll kill you."

Frederich rose an eyebrow.

"You can't do that."

He smiled.

"Sure I can. I can move some stuff...I could probably push you off a bridge if I had to."

He frowned and thought for a while, then made his decision.

"...fine, it's a deal."

Hayden grinned, shaking Frederich's hand forcefully. "Welcome to life, kiddo."

He sighed.

"...right..."

He wrapped his arm around Frederich.

"Now, where do you live? You'll be needing some sleep."

"Hm...I guess I can walk home from here..." He said.
