I Use the Term "Missionary" Loosely

"Oh, you know. Vows of celibacy and stuff." He waved his gloved hand.

"Oh..." he said, obviously disappointed. "I see. May I still kiss you, then?"

"No, that counts as sex." He said quickly. "New subject. Hm. Well, I'm glad to see you again!"

"...Then how are we still lovers?" he asked, ignoring Mars's greeting; he could feel pain swelling in his chest.

"What's the word?" He tapped his chin. "Oh, right, platonic! That's what we are, right?"

"...Marsy, does it honestly mean nothing to you now?" He took Mars's hand. "I was your first time...I love you."

Cyprus grimaced and pulled his hands away.

"Please, don't touch me." He said, hiding his hands behind his back.

Frustrated, Priestly kissed him on the lips.

"Don't tell me you've forgotten what my body feels like."

He shoved him away.

"Please." He said sternly. "Don't."

Sighing deeply, he pulled away.

"...I'm sorry, Mars. Forgot myself for a second--you don't mind if I still call you by your old name, right?"

"...I would prefer if you didn't." He said quietly. "I'm not 'Mars' anymore."

He nodded.

"Yeah...you're right. I...I'll make you something to eat later okay? Suddenly I feel very tired...I'll be in my room if you nbeed me, your old room should still be the same."

Without another word, he hurried down the hall and slammed the door of his room behind him, sighing.

He plopped onto his bed; as he shifted, he felt something crumple underneath him. Upon closer examination, pictures of someone's penis had been left on his bed; groaning, he threw them into the trash and buried his face in his pillows.

Mars buried his head in his hands. That had been terrible. He'd never treated Priestly like that, not even when he was mad at him. He had convinced himself that this was the only way to get Priestly to stop touching him. With his body the way it was, he couldn't bear for Priestly to see him like this.

With a heavy sigh, he plodded up into his bedroom. It hadn't changed at all, but it was hardly comforting. All he wanted was Priestly...

He ended up falling asleep fully clothed out of habit.

That night, when Priestly was sure Mars was asleep, he snuck out the back door and paced irritably in the small grove behind his house.

"Come out, Faust! I know you're here--I heard you breathing outside my bedroom window."

Faust tentatively peaked out from behind the tree he had hidden behind when he spotted Priestly.



"O-oh....Hello..." He said shyly.

He rolled his eyes.

"Don't just stand there, get out here!....I promise I won't bite. Much, if you hurry."

He slowly walked towards Priestly, staring at the ground and fiddling with his hat.

"Uhm...Helo." He repeated. "I wasn't....Doing anything out here, really."

He grimaced.

"...I don't want any details."

"Wh...what do you want, then?" He asked meekly. Then, a thought crossed his mind. "Oh, Priestly, silly, of course I'll have sex with you."

He rolled his eyes.

"Like I'd ever ask you for that."

He sighed heavily.

"...then what?"

"I want to know if I can die," he said simply.

"...Are you going to kill yourself?" He deadpanned.

He nodded.

'Actually, I was kinda hoping you would--you can help clean up afterward, at the least."

He smiled.

"You can die, but I'll just bring you back~" He said happily. "Besides, it will take a lot to kill you now~"
