Entente Cordial

"You are a wanker," she said simply, crossing her arms. "And I am beginning to suspect you are stupider zan an American."

He looked truly offended.

"How dare you!"

"How dare you call everyone I know a prostitute, sir!" she retorted hotly.

"Maybe you should tell them to quit their line of work, then!"

"No one I know is a prostitute!!"

"You don't know any French people?"

"...You are lucky you are cute and rich, Mister Datta."

He blushed slightly.

"You think I'm cute?"

His expression was something akin to: 8D

She scoffed, turning away from him.

"...I never said zat," she said, before remembering what she was here for. "...I mean, yes. You are very cute."

He giggled, delighted.

"Really really?"

She nodded, forcing a smile.

"Oui. I'm sure you are even cuter when you are well, too..."

"Then you should cook for me, so then you can give me that sponge bath sooner!" He smiled at her.

She laughed.

"But if I cook for you now, you will be hungry right before bed--you British are weird, eating heavy meals late."

He laughed.

"But I like meals like this."

She sighed.

"Fine--but only tea before bed."

He nodded.

"Okay!"

Flipped her hair over her shoulder, Jacqueline headed to the kitchen.

"Anything in particular you're in the mood for?" she called.

"Anything you want to cook me is fine!" He replied, shifting positions in his chair slightly.

About an hour later, she finished plating his food, smiling to herself.

"Monsieur--ahem, Mister Datta, where would you like to eat?"

"Anywhere, as long as you can feed me." He said brightly. "It's rather hard for me to eat with my right hand."

"Ze living room, zen?" she asked, walking out with a tray; the plate she had prepared held steak au poivre and pommes frites--which was a fancy way of saying a sauce-covered steak with fries.

She placed the tray on the table next to he chair and kneeled at his side.

"So I must feed you?"

He nodded. Actually, she didn't need to. But Benji wasn't about to admit that.

"Yes."

Sighing, she carefully cut his steak and potatoes and began to spoon-feed him very carefully.

And Benji enjoyed every minute. He munched happily, smiling like an idiot.

When she had cleared his plate, she carefully wiped off his face with a napkin and grabbed the tray.

"Would you like seconds, or are you full?"
