"Do you have money?"

"I can get money."

"I need it to buy things, but I think you know this."

"Check in Faust's couch cushions."

"He never kept spare money around."

"That's where I kept mine."

"...Why?"

"So I could get it when I needed, duh," he said, as though she were slow.

She just gave him a look, then just shook her head.

"Never mind."

"Just go get it and buy some shit."

She sighed.

"Yes, I will."

Thaddeus stretched, yawning.

"Thanks a bunch, cupcake."

"Cupcake?" She wondered, looking through the couch for money.

"Yeah--it's a condescending thing to call a woman."

"I think it's cute~" She cooed happily, finding the money and shoving it into her pockets. "Thank you, Thaddeus."

"Bring back the change or I'll beat you until you can't walk," he said seriously.

"Yes, I will." She nodded, and headed for the door.

When she returned, she was carrying bags of groceries.

"Thaddeus!" she called to him.

"What is it, bitch?" he called from the couch, his feet resting on an overturned chair.

"There was no change." She replied, dumping the bags on the counter.

He coughed.

"You spent all of that shit already? Fucking seriously?!"

"I know what he has and doesn't, so I spent it very strategically." She informed him.

"How much shit did you buy, lady?!" he demanded, ignoring her words.

"If you don't eat a lot, a month's worth."
