My Roommate Plays With Dolls

Yuri Sibyl sat on his bed, sewing together cloth dolls. His new roommate was going to arrive soon, but he didn't care; this was far more important. The doll of the mean, mean girl in his math class was starting to fall apart; his powers wouldn't work if it didn't look enough like her, and she deserved a few pins. Today she had called him a Satanist freak--not nice at all...

He was also working on his latest creation, the nice boy at the coffee shop. He was an experimental project; using voodoo to make someone happy. Yuri had never tried it before, but he was up to the challenge.

Hearing a ring at the doorbell, he rolled his eyes and put down his dolls. Pulling on a shirt, he went to answer the door, running his hands through his messy and unmanageable hair.

Hopefully he would be nice. Nice was good; it meant he didn't have to hand out any punishments.

And in barged in Blair. He grinned down at Yuri, as he was taller than him (though he was taller than most everyone, anyway) and introduced himself by saying, "Hey, you look kinda like a fag, you aren't though, right? 'Cause I'm gonna be having a lot of people over and I can't have you ruining my reputation."

Yuri sighed; so much for nice.

"You're my new roommate? I'm Yuri...I like peace and quiet. We won't have any problems, will we? What's your name?"

"Blair Liu. Though, I'm sure you've heard of me." He said, smiling condescendingly. "As for problems, no, we won't, as long as you stay the hell away from me and don't cause me any problems. You get that?"

"I was here first," he said calmly, "But more importantly, we're roommates now--we share...pleasetell me you know what 'share' means."

"Why should I have to share anything with you? Everyone knows you're just some sort of satanist freak anyway." He crossed his arms.

Yuri frowned slightly, trying not to appear too hurt.

"...Then why the hell are you rooming with the 'Satanist freak' if you believe the rumors, huh?"

He frowned.

"Because I've got nowhere else to go, okay?" He snapped. Obviously Yuri had hit a nerve. "So deal with it."

He smiled slightly.

"Aren't you afraid I'll hex you in your sleep, or put demon's blood in your food?..."

"I'll be careful with my food, thank you very much." He replied at once. "And if you try anything while I'm sleeping, you will regret it, you fucking creep."

He grinned mischievously.

"Ah, so you don't trust me...are you afraid?"

Blair laughed at him.

"Afraid? Of course not. But I'm not so stupid that I'd let my guard down around you." He crossed his arms. "So don't kid yourself."

He grinned.

"Smart. In fact, you're so smart, I bet you know all the basic rules of witchcraft, like how I can't hex you if you sleep naked, and how I can't poison your food without being punished by demons if you pat your head and rub your tummy whenever you enter the apartment."

"Ha! Of course I know that!" He lied immediately. "That's what I always do, anyway!"

It was half true, anyway; Blair always slept naked, but as for the other part, what retard did that?

Yuri snapped, doing his best to look disappointed, though he was laughing on the inside.

"Damn. Well I bet you didn't know that a constant diet of cola weakens my power against those who live with me--" He clapped his hand over his mouth, as though he had made a mistake; perhaps he was taking this joke too far, but he fucking loved cola. If jerkface here bought it for him, maybe living together would be more bearable.

Blair grabbed Yuri by the collar.

"Good! Because I plan to buy cola for myself, anyway!"

"Oh no!" he said, attempting be convincing. "Wow, you're smart...I'm no match...only, there is one thing." He smiled brightly, patting Blair on the back.

"Since I'm a Satanist, if you ever try to harm me bodily or just make me really, really mad, I have to power to curse you and all of your descendants--and the first stage of the curse involves your genitalia shriveling and falling off." He wiggled his fingers eerily for effect.

He frowned and moved a few steps away from him.

"...right."

He grabbed Blair's hand a shook it for the sole purpose of making him uncomfortable.

"Well, it's nice to meet you, roomie! Good luck trying to get me to drink cola--as a Satanist, it's against my religion unless the cola is handed to me by a man in a skimpy female hooker outfit."

Blair frowned.

"Well don't expect ME to wear something like that!"

"Then I guess my powers will be really strong against you, Blair," he said, grinning creepily.

"...fine." He mumbled. "But I'm NOT paying for it and you better damn well NEVER tell anyone about it!"

He scowled, but there was something off about it that made it unconvincing.

He smiled.

"Okay. Did you know that if you sexually pleasure a Satanist, they can't curse you?"

Blair glared at him.

"Ha! Like I believe that one." He replied, crossing his arms. "NOW you're just making things up."

He grinned broadly.

"You got me, I was joking--besides, you're not hot."
