Addie Loses His Shit

He just crossed his arms.

"Excuse me? No, I don't love you. Stupid." He scoffed, glaring down at him. "And I'm not going to take off my pants."

"I don't mind doing it for you if you're shyyyyyy," he teased, tackling Addie onto the bed. "Take them off yourself or I'll think of something naughty to do afterward, too." Royce winked; teasing Addie was quite a sport, and he was a self-declared MVP.

Grumbling loudly, Addie pulled down his pants and kicked them off.

"There!" He snapped, shoving Royce off of him.

Royce stared admiringly for a few minutes before glancing at the TV.

"So...I've got a few hours to kill. You doing anything, or...?"

Addie buried his face in his hands, trying to pretend he wasn't letting Royce stare at him. Of course, when Royce didn't molest him, he was actually surprised.

He almost asked what was up, but decided to not jinx his wonderful luck.

"Yes, I'm going on a mission." He replied, pulling up his pants.

"Ooooh, what're we doing?" he asked, leaning closer. "Who're we gonna kill?"

"Not you, me." He shoved Royce away. "I'm going alone. I don't need you to babysit me all the time, you know."

He stood up, grabbing his poor, torn up shirt and jacket. He really shouldn't have ripped them off.

"I'll be back by tomorrow."

He giggled, tackling Addie.

"You mean we'll be back. Now come on, let's go rouse some punks!" He made gun motions with his hand.

Addie shoved him away. Again.

"I'm serious, it's just a pick up mission. Literally, all I have to do is walk to a place and pick up a package from a human, no less. I'll be fine."

"Sounds like fun!" he said, pulling on a pair of pants. "Bloody fucking ace, I say--just watch."

"No." He insisted, hurrying towards the door. "I'm going alone!!"

"Oh, so it's a game?" he asked, grabbing Addie's arm. "I like games. I bet I can kill the human before you do."

"You can't kill him!" He shouted, yanking his arm away. "How many times do I have to tell you that?!"

"Sure I can," he replied, vaguely puzzled. Addie always said the most nonsensical things. "All I have to do is slit his throat. Or rip out his organs. Or remove a limb. Or snap his neck, if I want a clean meal, but those are never fun." He grinned broadly, winking. Though cheesy gestures were kind of his thing, he always made more in Addie's presence.

"No, I mean...Augh!" He groaned. "I mean, I know you can, physically, stupid, I just don't want you to!"

"Oh," he said, pressing close to Addie. "You just want to show up old Royce, eh? Well, you can't--bloody no one can. But for the sake of fun, I'll go easy--give you a sporting chance, mate. If you win, you own my body for a day. If I win...I own yours." He ran his hand over Addie's chest, imagining how fun it would be to lick it again.

Addie turned paler.

"No, that's not even fair! I don't like these terms, I don't want to own our stupid body! If I win, you leave me alone for an entire week!"

Wait, no dammit, that's not what he wanted to say. He groaned loudly. "I mean, no, there is no game!"

Royce laughed loudly, patting him on the butt.

"Sure there isn't! See you when I win, mmkay?"

Addie shoved him away. Dammit, he had to somehow do his mission and kill the guy...No, he couldn't kill him! Though, a week without Royce might actually be worth it...

Soon, he was in the streets. Where was he supposed to meet that guy, anyway? He thought for a moment, before it finally came to him. Right.

He made his way to the alleyway, frantically looking for the man.

Luckily enough for him, there was no sign of Royce yet. In fact, the streets were eerily quiet.

He frowned. Was he early? He checked his watch. Yes, by a little. But normally even if he was early, the dealer was there. He frowned even deeper. Had Royce gotten here first...? It seemed unlikely, since he would be gloating about his kill.

Royce was, in fact, still in his apartment, inhaling deep breaths of the night air.

Addie hung his head. Then, someone showed up.

"You here for the package?" He asked, holding it out to Addie.

"Yeah, it's the chemicals, right?" He asked, taking it from him. The man nodded.

"Uh, thanks, but..." He cleared his throat. "I have to kill you."

The dude just stared at him. "Excuse me."

Addie inched towards him. It was so easy. Just, hit him really hard or shove his hand through his chest. IT didn't take any effort at all.

"Y-yeah, sorry." He replied, gently touching the guy's chest in a really creepy manner. He sighed heavily, turning around. "...never mind."

At that moment, Royce leapt down from the roof of a building and snapped the man's neck in one swift movement. He kissed him on the forehead as the light drained from his eyes.

"Goodnight, sweet prince," he murmured. "But hello to tall dark and handsome for a week." He winked at Addie, shaking the corpse in his hands.

"Well? Did I surprise you? I bet I did--that was bloody ace, mate, bloody fucking ace."

Addie groaned loudly, burying his face in his empty hand. He should've just killed him; he was going to die anyway, and now things were even worse.

"...Just let me go drop this off at the lab." He said reluctantly.
