"Then stop being afraid of it and just hug me instead," he said simply.

"...I'm not interested in that, either."

"Then why are you interested in me?"

Mars opened his mouth then closed it again and said nothing at all.

He grinned, waggling his eyebrows.

"I sense a contradiction."

"That's...Nothing!" He insisted angrily. "It's not that simple!"

"Then do explain~"

"...No." He said, stubborn as ever. "I don't have to."

"But I want you to," he said, licking Mars's neck. "Come on, I'll give you something in return..."

Squirming, he replied, "No! I don't want whatever you want to give me!"

"Then what do you want?" he asked, genuinely interested.

"I just want to get rid of this curse!" He exclaimed. "That's it!"

"But don't you want true love?" he asked, batting his eyelashes.

"Not from you!" He insisted. "I want to remove this curse and then I want to go out and live on my own!"

"So I'm your training wheels?" he chuckled.

"...I do like you, but..." He struggled to find the words. "...Just not all of you."

"And what parts don't you like?"

"You can be so...vulgar. And rude, and really very untactful. Sometimes, I wonder if you have some sort of disease that makes you want to spend so much intimate time with people you don't even know." Mars could have babbled on for hours about all the things he didn't like about Priestly, but he managed to stop himself.

"Not true--I want to spend so much intimate time with you," he purred.

"Don't lie to me." He barked. "Besides, it doesn't matter what you want. I have no interest in being intimate with you."

Priestly frowned.

"That wasn't a lie, Mars Bar."

He rolled his eyes.

"Fine, it still doesn't change the fact that it doesn't matter."

"Why don't you want intimacy with me?"

"Because I don't love you." He said simply. "Among other things, such as the fact that you're a man."

"What do you like about me?" he asked, pouting.
