Shadowlove smiled, pressing more insistently.

"The problem is you keep talking about death and killing and how you're going to kill me and it's not very mood-setting at all," she insisted. "Try talking about nicer things."

"I don't...know much nice things," she replied, shrugging it off. "Why should I care?"

"Because it won't be any good if you don't."

"It will be fine," she insisted.

"Fine," she said, scowling. "Let me do my job and you'll see how nice it is."
