Stephen and Addock are Equal Parts Douche

Stephen pulled him close and kissed him on the lips.

"Sure thing, fag."

Addock almost died of a heart attack. Though he was blind, he was used to being taken by surprise when it came to relationships. It was almost unavoidable. But, he hadn't expected Stephen of all people to initiate a kiss.

He shoved him away.

"Good. Bye." he insisted, straightening out his clothes before he left.

"How's your fish? Raw enough for you?" asked Stephen, eating a California roll in one bite. "You're not even Asian, you know--I was expecting you to ask for some falafel shit, or something. Whatever your people like."

"One of my old boyfriends was Japanese and he was crazy about making me eat real Japanese food, so he cooked for me all the time," he explained, toying with his food as he spoke. "Also, I hate falafel."

"Good, so do I. We got shit in common already, just like a real date." He laughed and patted Addock on the lower back.

"So how does it feel to be someone's bitch for the night--oh, wait. You do that for fun already."

Addock shrugged, even if the comment induced rage within him.

"Do you ever think about doing something other than being a lawyer?" Addock asked, hoping to steer the conversation elsewhere.

"Nope. My dream career is getting paid handsomely to lie, and politics isn't really my thing." He swallowed another piece of sushi, barely chewing it.

"What I can't figure out is why you're a lawyer--it's not a business for the wishy-washy. You've gotta have a flair for it, and dedication, too. Eh, maybe that's why you suck so bad?"

"I am dedicated to my job," he replied instantly. "I'm dedicated to it in a way you'll never understand."

Addock chewed on a piece of sushi, frowning deeply. "I used to have more of a flair...until you came around."

"Convenient, huh? Must not have been much of a flair, if I could steal it--no one can make me look bad in a courtroom."

Addock sighed. This conversation was turning depressing. Though, he wasn't sure any conversation with Stephen would be particularly uplifting.

"Are you finished?" he asked, hoping to perhaps salvage the night if Stephen shut the hell up when they were having sex. Or, well, the little bit of sex he'd promised.

"Really, you're done? I'm paying, you know--you can waste a little bit more of my money."

"I'm still hungry, but I'm sick of listening to you talk," Addock replied honestly.

"Then I'll shut up. I'm not the type of person who skimps on a date. Just make sure the blowjob is killer, eh?" He laughed loudly.

"You're an odd guy, Addock. A real card."

Addock smiled suddenly.

"You know, I'll just take it to go and eat it later. We can leave, then," he replied, smiling as he straightened out his clothes.

"You sure?" he pressed. "I've got all night."

Addock just nodded.

"I think I'll be fine," he said. "Are you ready to leave?"

He nodded, standing up and patting Addock on the ass.

"Ready to head back to my place, you fucking pansy?"

Addock just smiled, for once.

"Then let's go."

"Should we take the elevator upstairs?" asked Stephen, keeping a hand on Addock's arm.

"That would be preferable...wait, you have an elevator?" he asked almost immediately after. "Uhm. Sure."

"Of course. I'm not fucking poor," he replied, rolling his eyes. "Stairs are for people who can't afford elevators."

Addock pursed his lips.

"...right. Anyway, sure, elevators are easier for me than stairs."
