Princess Euphraxia Larietta was going to go missing very soon. When she did, there would not be a huge panic. Before that happened she had to make sure she had found someone to travel with. This would not be hard. Her face would not be recognizable by anyone.
Pulling the dark cape over her face, she walked to her window and jumped.
The first person she had to find she had to find quick. She clutched her folder with the forged letters close. She had to find them quick and give it to them and then they would protect her. At least, she thought and hoped they would. Being a woman in this city wasn't exactly the best thing, and she wasn't stupid; she knew she wasn't ugly. She wasn't particularly beautiful, either, but that mattered little to most of the violent, drunk fiends around.
Due to her concentration not on where she was walking, Euphraxia ran straight into someone.
"S-sorry!" She apologized immediately, hoping that they would just leave her in peace. That was, until she realized that they had a strange feel to them. In seconds, she realized she was looking for them; apparently her body had led here there.
