When Cecil had gotten the news that he would be getting a roommate, he had immediately threatened Tobias with everything he possibly could in order to keep his tent all to himself. In the end, he'd lost of course, and so now he sat on his bed, reading a book, waiting for the person to begin making his life a living hell.

Aleks walked into the tent brusquely, avoiding eye contact. The less he talked, the easier this would be; it was just a job. A pasttime. No need to get to know anyone.

Cecil looked up from his book and stared intently at the man. He didn't seem the annoying type, so maybe he would be spared. But then again, maybe not. He continued to glare at the man while he thought.

Feeling the eyes on his back, Aleks carefully unpacked his books, sighing; great, his roommate was already creepy. At least there was one advantage to being a mime: no need to talk.

Setting his fedora on the shelf next to his bed, he reclined with his copy of Oliver Twist and did his best to ignore the creeper on the other side of the tent.

After he hadn't spoken, Cecil shrugged slightly and turned back to his books. Perhaps this would be an alright change, after all...

Aleks flipped through the pages calmly.

Eventually, unable to resist, Cecil asked, "What is your name?"

He gave him a simple look, as if to say, "I'm a mime, retard," then looked back at his book.

Frowning, Cecil set down his book.

"If you're a mime, surely you can sign."

Shrugging, he put down his books again and signed, "A-L-E-K-S" with his hands.

"I see." Cecil replied, satisfied. He turned his attention back to his book. "Carry on, then."

Aleks did just that, of course, rolling his eyes.

A few minutes later Cecil set down his book and asked, "You aren't going to bother me too much, are you?"

He glared at Cecil, blatantly ignoring him once more.

He frowned.

"Look, it's a simple question."

Sighing inwardly, he shook his head no.

"Are you sure?" He asked, just to be sure. It wasn't as if he was just lonely and wanted to talk to someone.

He glared at him again, sending a clear message.

"You're really difficult, you know that?"

Of course it wasn't as if Cecil had any place to talk, but whatever.

Ignoring Sir Creeper, as he had decided to call him, poor Aleks did his best to get lost in Mr. Dickens's writing.

"It's quite impolite to ignore people." Cecil replied, frowning.
