Two Normal Guys, Playin' Games

He had just been clicking around on Yahoo answers, trying to find an answer to the glitch on his Assassin's Creed game when he found it. Zac, or Caz to his internet followers, wouldn't have known at this point what this would change. Another simple plug, he figured.

"Hey there! I'm Caz, this is my Youtube channel (youtube.com/user/zaccaz). I've done playthroughs of almost all of the Assassin's Creed games, so, if you want to see how they play before you buy, check it out! Tell me how it goes for you. Message me on my youtube or leave a comment if you liked it."

Then, back to searching around for his answer.

Hunter shrugged when he read the answer; why not? This new computer could actually handle youtube. He watched a few videos in succession; the commentary made him laugh, and the game seemed pretty fun.

He sent the guy a message:

"Thanks a ton man! Liked your videos--think I'll buy the game. :D You seem really cool--do you have a Skype?"

He checked his messages on youtube, like he did everyday. A lot of "I LOVE YOU'S", a lot of sweet ones, a lot of weird ones, some hate. The usual. But one caught his eyes. The guy from Yahoo answers.

"Sure," he typed, tapping his fingers against the desk. "My fan Skype is 'ZaccazForFans', go ahead and add me. Replies could take a while, I sift through a lot of messages."

He smiled as he read the reply.

"Mine's spookHunter. :D" he replied, hitting send.

He opened up Skype, added "ZaccaZForFans."

"So," he typed, "you ever play any horror games? I didn't see any videos for them on your youtube channel."

Despite his warning of not responding quickly, Caz found he bypassed all of his backed up messages anyway. It was rare when another dude wanted to talk to him, and he wasn't super interested in girls.

"You like horror?" He typed, laughing nervously to himself. "I don't really like horror. At all. I'm a huge pussy, man."

Hunter snorted in his seat when he read that. The honesty was refreshing; most guys on the team would always talk tough and then mysteriously have to be home whenever he brought out Amnesia.

"I really like Amnesia. I got it a while ago but it's really fun. :D You should try playing it--I mean you're funny so I bet the video would be great. Your subscribers would dig it. :P Just don't stare at dead bodies for too long lol."

"Hhhhhhhh" was the noise Caz made out loud as he typed. He didn't want to play Amnesia but he couldn't say no to his viewers. They'd been bugging him for it forever, now.

"Fiiiiiine," he replied, sighing loudly. "I'll bite. You got me. I'll play Amnesia in my next recording session."

"Cool, I'm sure you'll like it. :D It's actually not that scary but it's really fun."

"Fff," he hissed out loud.

"I highly doubt that," he replied. "Well, brb, going to buy Amnesia and record."

"Can't wait to see the video :D" Hunter replied. He exited out of Skype and thought nothing more of the conversation for the next few days.

He couldn't do it. He couldn't play Amnesia. He tried, he had tried. He had gotten about an hour of recordings worth, which he would post in a few videos, but he had to discontinue playing it. He just couldn't do it. Not even during the day, without headphones.

"sorry dudes," he posted on his videos. "Gotta discontinue this one. Can't take it. Too much of a pussy lol."

He debated on sending the message to Hunter, but ended up doing it anyway.

"Hey, dunno if you keep up with my videos but I couldn't play Amnesia for long. If you wanna play, why don't you record it? It's tons of fun."

"Really? D:" he replied as soon as he got the message. It had taken him by surprise; Amnesia wasn't even that scary.

"Don't I have to be like a pro youtuber to do that lol?"

He laughed.

"lol no. when I started Id idn't have any followers. It's just for fun."

"Uhh I guess I could try. I don't have a mic though D:"

"Hey, I have an old one if you want it," he replied, smiling as he typed. He'd be glad when this guy got to scream as he played Amnesia... "I can send it to you. Where do you live?"

"I live in NJ. But you really don't have to do that. D: I mean, we just met, is that okay?" Hunter bit his cheek. It would be awkward if he had to tell this guy his neighborhood.

"I live in Ohio," he typed, but then he backspaced. Maybe it was better he didn't tell him the state where he lived. The city might be better.

"I live in Toledo," he amended. "It's totally okay, dude. Unless you think I'm, like, forcing it onto you lol. No problem if you don't want it, I just don't have a use for it and I was gonna throw it away."

"Ah. Well, I guess it's okay. I live in Newark. I'll send you the full address?" He stared at the screen nervously, his hands hovering over the keyboard.

Maybe this guy would have no clue what Newark was like. That'd be cool.

"Sure," he replied, honestly clueless about what Newark was like at all. He had no idea, he had never been out of Ohio before. "I'll send it to you and hopefully it gets there in one piece."
