"Beau...how long has it been since we first went on a date?" Alexei asked, sipping hot chocolate from a mug on his couch. He was snuggled up to Beau, feeling rather at peace.

He nodded, pulling Alexei close and kissing him on the forehead. More than anything, he was relieved the topic of conversation had changed.

"Well, I'll go make us some, then. It's still early, we can drink a bit, make out, watch a movie, make out, maybe have sex afterwards," he kissed Beau on the lips. "What do you think?"

He nodded eagerly.

"...Okay. Love you." He very quickly moved his hand to Alexei's butt, then back again.

"Don't get handsy with me, mister," he kissed Beau on the nose before he went to make their drinks. He returned, sipping from one of the cups. "Here you go, sweet pie."

He held the cup from Beau's reach.

"If you want it, you have to give me a blowjob."

"...Okay," said Beau, staring up at Alexei expectantly.

"Oh, don't give me that look, you big lug," he handed Beau his drink and sat next to him, taking a big gulp of his. "What movie should we watch? What Christmas movies do you like?"

He sipped his eggnog, making a face as he did so.

"Uh...I dunno...what movies do you like?" he answered evasively.

"Shut up and just tell me what movie you want to watch," Alexei replied, his smile never wavering.

"...The one where it's Christmas," he mumbled almost inaudibly, staring at the ground.

"If you don't tell me, I'm going to turn on porn instead," Alexei replied happily.

"Okay," he replied, gulping down the rest of his eggnog. He stared at the empty cup, as though there was some hidden message inside of it.

Alexei sighed and sat in Beau's lap.

"If I give you a blowjob will you pick a movie?" he asked, kissing him.

He kissed back, but gave him a sheepish look when he was done.

"...You can pick."

"No, if I forcefully give you a bj, it means you have to choose," he replied, grinning wildly.

Gripping his empty cup more tightly than necessary, he scooted away from Alexei.

"Let's just do somethin' else, maybe," he suggested quietly.

Alexei frowned, growing quiet. He had done something unintentional to make Beau uncomfortable. Things like this used to be easy for him to deal with, but had become difficult in too many ways after the big reveal.

He turned silent, wondering what he had done.

"...Unless there's something you wanna watch?" he asked, a pleading tone in his voice.

Alexei felt a dark feeling of regret grip his chest. He couldn't do anything right, anymore, could he? He swallowed, the feeling in his chest only getting worse.

He said nothing.

Beau looked up only for a moment; when he saw Alexei's face, he turned green.

"I...no, it's not you. It's really not. I...I fucked up again, I'm sorry." He tried to stammer out the words, but his mouth felt so dry.

Alexei just shook his head, drinking his eggnog. And he thought today would be so nice, too.

"...I don't know any Christmas movies," he admitted quietly. "Just one."

Alexei didn't say anything at all.
