So...Denny's?

Mimey sat in his tent, reading underneath the bed. Hopefully if he stayed hidden, his crazy roommate wouldn't find him again.

But Cecil found him anyway.

"Mimey!" He exclaimed, bending over to peer under the bed. "I got you flowers."

He thrust them beneath the bed.

Mimey almost suffocated as flowers were thrust into his face; his mime-limbs flailed helplessly under the bed.

After a second, Cecil realized his mistake and withdrew them.

"Mimey! Do I have to give you CPR?! I'll do it!"

He frantically shook his head no, retreating further underneath the bed. God, this guy was a nutter.

"I'll, uh, just put the flowers in a vase instead!" He said enthusiastically.

Mimey just stared, praying he would leave.

He gave him a cheesy, nervous smile and did just that, putting the flowers in a rather expensive looking vase. When he finished, he looked underneath the bed again.

"...Won't you come out and look?"

Mimey eyed him suspiciously.

Do...you....promise...not...to...touch...me...? he signed slowly.

After a few moments of hesitation, he nodded.

"...I promise not to touch you."

Mimey scrambled out from under the bed, anxious to breath fresh air again.

Cecil backed away from him, wishing he could touch Mimey.

"Aren't they pretty~?"

He shrugged.

For decaying reproductive organs, yes.

He looked somewhat heartbroken.

"...but I tried so hard to find them fresh."

He blinked, surprised.

Why? he signed curiously.

He blushed suddenly.

"...I wanted them to be nice for you."

He repeated the gesture, still highly confused.

"Because I...likeyou..." He mumbled, looking away.

He stared, unsure of how to respond. He slowly made the sign for "thank you", all the while looking completely unsure of himself.

Looking for a distraction, he fingered the petals of one of the flowers.

Cecil glanced back up at him, and smiled.

"...I wasn't sure what kind you liked so I got, uhm, what I like."

He flushed red again.

"I-I mean, no!"

He pointed to the flowers quizzically.

He covered his face with his hands.

"Look, I..." He was embarrassed beyond belief. "...I used to go to hospitals a lot, and some kids liked flowers better than others, so I grew to like them better, too."

He nodded, smiling awkwardly. He signaled "thank you" again, unsure of what else to say.
