A Particular Day in Autumn

"Come ooon, I have eggs--your favorite." He still didn't meet Marss eyes; his thoughts seemed to be focused somewhere far off. "Do it to make me happy?"

"I think I can have my fill after, don't you? You know, when I don't leave this time." He insisted.

"I insist we eat a little beforehand," he replied. "Trust me, you'll thank me later."

Mars rolled his eyes.

"If it means this much to you, then fiiiine." He replied reluctantly.

He looked at Mars again, smiling.

"Excellent--there's food in the fridge. Come along."

He moved into the kitchen, slightly irked by the postponement of their sexy times.

Priestly pulled out some deviled eggs and some strawberries, popping one of the latter into his mouth.

"Like old times, huh?"

Mars smiled slightly.

"I'm not hungry, though. I don't get really all that hungry, anymore."

He sighed.

"Please, try."

He sighed.

"Fine, fine. I didn't say it was impossible. Just that my stomach doesn't work well anymore." He grumbled something about having to replace it a whole bunch as he picked up a deviled egg to suck on.

"I'm sorry," he sighed. "But you really need your energy..."

He chewed, then forced himself to swallow.

"There." He replied, crossing his arms.

Priestly smiled, satisfied.

"Good boy, eat up~"

Mars took another egg, forcing himself to eat it.

"This sucks, I don't want to eat any more." He replied, pouting.

Sighing, he shrugged.

"You know where the bedroom is, right?"

"..yes." He admitted, laughing to himself.

"Go wait for me. I think I still have some toys in there, too." He winked, though it wasn't nearly as flirtatious as one might expect.

Mars rolled his eyes, dismissing Priestly's comment as he trudged towards Priestly's bedroom. He sure was acting rather...weird.

Priestly soon finished eating; he meticulously put all of his food away before joining Mars in the bedroom.

"Are you sure you'll be fine? With all of those stitches?"

Mars laughed. He was sitting and waiting patiently on Priestly's bed.

"Well, I don't think you're going to try to yank my body parts off, so I think I'll be fine." He waved his hand. "Though, do be careful around my stomach; I don't think you want to be covered in internal organs in the middle of anything."

He nodded.

"Right--I'll be careful. Should we start slow or, you know...go all the way?"

Mars just grinned.

"Come onnn, are you just stalling or what? I'm an adult for Gosh's sake, if I want you to stop I'll just tell you, okay?"

He smiled.

"Why would I stall, Marsy? We're both adults--adults don't stall." Nonetheless, he looked uncharacteristically awkward. He tugged on his shirt as though suddenly uncomfortable.

Sighing slightly, Mars stood up and moved over to Priestly, wrapping his arms around his waist.

"Come on, just tell me what's wrong, already." He insisted softly.

He smiled, kissing Mars on the cheek.

"Nothing. Just need to take off my clothes, is all."
