"Because you're a filthy, disgusting, lowlife!" He shouted, suddenly emitting quite a bit of smoke. "I can't even...I can't even believe you would do something as disgusting and terrible as this! I don't even know how you did it, but I don't care at this point!"

He shoved Royce away from him, getting to his feet.

"If you don't leave, I will fucking destroy you." He warned, nearly a plume of smoke at this point.

"I have no clothes," she insisted, sniffing. "Come on, why would you just have sex with me? You act like I'm some kind of disease-infested whore--I'll have you know I was a virgin until a few minutes ago."

"I don't care about any of that!" He exclaimed. "I care that you're a disgusting person morally! For Christ's sake, I can't believe you would trick me into sex, and then..."

He grew silent suddenly.

"...Why do you hate me so much?"

He blushed red.

"Ah, isn't it obvious? You're the one who hates me--I'm absolutely in love with you. I crave your body and your attention constantly. How else am I supposed to get either?" He smiled, playing with his breasts. "I don't normally stoop to trickery, but you don't respond to other methods."

"I don't respond because you're a terrible person and I hate you!" He snapped again. "You kill people and you're constantly coming on to me when I obviously don't want anything to do with you because you're a stupid faggot!"

He fumed, crossing his arms. "Tell me why the fuck you even like me and then maybe I won't have to incinerate you."

He blushed further.

"When I first saw you, Addie, I thought you were beautiful. But then I realized you're also fiery and intense and passionate and alive. I love all of you, your personality and essence and even your appearance; I want you to be mine." He gestured to his body again. "I even went this far, don't you see? I forfeited my precious manhood."

"...Are you going to stay like that?" He asked cautiously. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if Addie stayed like that. He could handle that. No more gay shit, just two heterosexual vampires, and then after they found the cure together, they could be a normal family...

But even so, Addie knew he shouldn't think like that; it didn't change the fact that Royce wasn't exactly the best of partners.

He chuckled and shook his head.

"No, this is a borrowed power--switching genders. Handy, but the blood'll run out sooner or later. Why, do you only love me as a girl?"

"I don't love you at all." He said, trying to hide his complete disappointment. "Just get out and leave me alone, you've done enough damage for today..."

He sighed, biting his lip.

"I mean, I could--but that'd kind of be unfair to my buddy, being a life-long blood slave. And I think I can get pregnant like this."

"Just get out." He insisted sharply. "That's disgusting and unnatural, anyway. Just go."

He morphed back into a man, glaring at Addie.

"See? And you ask why I resort to trickery. You hate me for no reason."

Addie looked away.

"At least put on clothes." He replied, refusing to look. Mainly because he was extremely attracted to him.

"I have nothing to wear," he replied, rolling his eyes. "I can't leave completely starkers, now can I?"

"Just...put on some of my clothes or something, then. Just, stop being naked."

"Why? Aroused?" he asked. He unhelpfully licked his fingers and trailed them over his body.

"Stop that, or I'll throw you outside naked!" He snapped.

He laughed, taking a step closer.

"Come on, you can admit it. I won't bite. Not right now, at least."

Addie looked at him, forcing himself to look him in the face.

"No. The answer is no. I'm not attracted to men because I'm not a fag like you."

"Then why are you so afraid to shag me?" he chuckled. "I mean, if you're really straight as a ruler like you claim, you've got nothing to worry about, right? You can't just turn into a gaylord."

"The act itself is gay!" He insisted. "Besides that, you're a disgusting vampire; the type I hate the most!"

Royce broke the man's neck very cleanly, smiling as he unbuttoned his shirt. His movements were very precise and loving, like a mother undressing a baby. He pulled off his gloves with his teeth, folding them neatly and slipping them into his pockets; once his hands were bare, all signs of humanity disappeared from his face.

He made quick work of the corpse, slitting open the throat and chest so blood could spill out appealingly. He held the corpse in his arms, turning to wink at Addie.

"You look thirsty."

Addie looked away, attempting to pretend he wasn't watching what he was watching. It had been some time since he had fed last; almost a whole day. He was beginning to feel the dull pangs of hunger.

"I'm not." He insisted, but his eyes wandered. The dead man was so blood covered he hardly seemed real anymore. He seemed too appealing to be real.

Addie found that instead of sneaking peaks, he was now staring. He wanted the man, needed him. He could feel his resolve failing him. His fingers twitched and he had to hold his breath to stop himself from smelling the delicious blood.

He could wait, he told himself.

But he knew he couldn't.

Royce studied Addie's expression for a few heartbeats, taking in every twitch, every tiny hint of hesitation. His smile widened; gently, he lowered his mouth to the man's glistening neck and licked a trail through the blood, moving his tongue slowly and tauntingly.

In several circles, Royce was known as a master tease; it wasn't a title he had been handed lightly. When he wanted someone to cave, they caved.

Addie watched, staring now. He couldn't look away. His resolve was wavering, more and more every second.

"Royce..." He said, before he could stop himself. He wanted to ask Royce for some, but he did manage to stop himself before he actually asked.
