"Well, that's what dating is for, right?" He replied smiling awkwardly.

"Are you dating anyone?" he asked, almost too eager for it to pass as on-topic.

"...excuse me?" He asked, blinking. "I think that's a rather personal thing to be asking a teacher."

Reflexively, he leaned away.

Tristan burst into Inge's house, his face streaked with tears. His bookbag was unzipped and his prized letterman jacket hung askew on his shoulders. "Inge?!" he called, sniffling like baby. "Inge, I need to talk to you, it's important! I think I'm a bad person!"

Inge was in his room, reading through a strange Japanese magazine. When he saw Tristan, he smiled.

"We're breaking up." He said, without so much as looking up from his magazine. "Okay?"

Tristan sniffled, looking up.

"W-what?...Really?" He pounced on Inge, pulling him into a tight bear hug. He nuzzled his face so that his tears covered both of their cheeks.

"Stop with the gay shit." He replied, pushing Tristan away. "I saw someone else I'm interested in, he's fuckin' hot. So, I can't be seen doing stupid, gay crap with you."

He grinned widely, winking. "But when we're alone, we can still sleep together~"

Tristan blushed. "But Inge...I'm gay. I don't think I can just stop it." He sat down, pulling Inge into his lap.
