Who Ya Gonna Call?!

Mars glared at him.

"Have fun eating by yourself." He replied at once. "Now, let's finish this quickly and allow this poor woman to have some peace."

He paused, smiling widely.

"Mars," he chuckled, "Did you just ask for oral? Good man!" He heartily patted Mars on the back.

Completely lost, Mars just looked at him.

"Excuse me?"

Priestly continued to beam at him.

"I'm not using my mouth, but I'll give you a handjob, sure."

"What are you even talking about? We have a job to be doing!" Mars hissed. "Now get to it!"

Invasively groping Mars's crotch, Priestly stepped into the bedroom.

"Now, come out, ghostie..." he called, producing a rosary from under his shirt. "We just want to talk. Whatever you are."

Unable to even respond to that, Mars just blinked, completely and utterly confused. Slowly, he followed Priestly.

He sat on the bed.

"I said come out, ghostie!!"

Eventually, a hunched over man walked in from the bathroom. Slightly transparent and dressed entirely in black, he looked as if he were going to a funeral.

Mars stood next to Priestly, frowning deeply, but making no moves.

Priestly's eyes widened, and he smiled, extending a hand.

"Hi, my name's Priestly. We just want to talk to you."

However, the ghost just ended up sobbing hysterically.

"YOU'RE GONNA KILL ME!" He screamed.

He frowned.

"Now, now--Mars looks scary, but he's my bitch, so he won't hurt you...you can trust me, okay?" Priestly smiled gently.

Mars resisted the urge to smack Priestly, somehow.

However, the stupid ghost continued to sob.

"N-no! I know you will! You're just going to kill me! That's all everyone wants! They all want me dead!"

He sat on the bed, stroking his chin.

"Why do they want to kill you?"

"Because! Everyone hates me! I haven't done anything to them, but they hate me!" He sniffled, wiping away some of his tears. "Stupid, stupid people...!"

"Which people? The ones that live here?"

"All of them! The stupid ones that live here and the ones that used to!" He sobbed. "Every time I just try to help them, but they just...they call in you! And then you try to kill me!"

"Shhh, shhh...no one called us. We came on our own to help." He smiled. "I am a man of God...God's message is mercy, isn't it? Now tell me, why are you helping these people?"

"They...They don't see what I do." He mumbled miserably. "There's something else...that lives here..."

His eyes widened.

"...You stop it from hurting them, don't you?"

The ghost nodded, sniffling again.

"But they keep trying to get rid of me! Without me, it'll just..." He burst into tears.

"So whatever else lives here...has been trying to kill them? It broke the chandelier and set the fires?"

"I broke the chandelier..." He admitted. "I was trying to kill it! But it ran away and I ended up hurting the person I was trying to protect!"

He nodded.

"I see...I'm willing to help you. Do you know where it lives?"

He shook his head.

"It just...appears...I don't even know where it originates..."
