Who Ya Gonna Call?!

"Where does it cause the most mischief?" he asked, pulling Mars into his lap.

Mars was so preoccupied he almost didn't notice. Unfortunately for Priestly, he did, and had a minor freak out as he pulled away from him and moved a few feet away.

The ghost continued after Mars was done spazzing out.

"Everywhere, really...I stay in the bedroom mostly because everyone spends the most time in their room..."

"Hmm," said Priestly, pacing. "Now, why do you live here?"

Ghostie shrugged.

"I just gravitated here..."

"But you're a ghost," he said, frowning. "There's a reason you're not on some other plane of existence by now."

He just shrugged, either unwilling to answer, or he truly didn't know himself.

He sighed, slicking his hair back.

"Well, thank you for talking. I suppose we're back to square one...Mars, comfort me."

Mars turned his attention to Priestly.

"What? How?" He asked, confused.

"It's very important to my process that I am relaxed and happy, so I need you to do exactly as I say. First, lay down on the bed."

Mars frowned.

"Not until you tell me exactly what you're going to do."

"Perform an ancient ritual," he said, nodding solemnly. "Watching and participating will benefit you as a student."

Crossing his arms he replied, "Explain it in detail first."

Priestly cleared his throat.

"It is an ancient ritual better experienced than explained, designed to promote health and well-being in both participants. You will be laying down for most of its duration."

He shook his head.

"That's not a sufficient explanation. Now either explain it better or stop wasting our time!"

He shoved Mars onto the bed.

He was too surprised to react for a moment, but when he got over that, he immediately jumped to his feet.

"What do you think you're doing?!" He demanded.

This time, he tackled Mars to the bed.

"Come on, now, Marsy, be good sport!!~" He turned to the ghost, winking. "You wanna join, sir?"

Mars squeaked in shock.

"What do you think you're doing?! Take your hands off of me!"

"Shhhh," he whispered, reaching up Mars's shirt. "You'll alarm the lady downstairs, and it's the last thing she needs..."

"What do you think you're doing?!" He shouted, despite Priestly's words. "How dare you touch my pure body like this! Let go of me before I have to do something violent!"

Silencing Mars with a kiss, Priestly felt up his body for a few minutes before pulling away.

"Thank you for your cooperation, Mars, I'm better."

Completely shocked, Mars didn't respond at all. Instead, he slowly got off the bed and reverted to a position in which he could pray. Pulling out a rosary, he did just that.

Priestly patted him on the back.

"Get up, now, we have a job to do."

He didn't respond until a few minutes later, after he'd stood up again and dusted himself off.

"Now, we should try to find the monster that's plaguing this house."

"Yes, you first."
