Blair Gets Sick And Mistakes Yuri For a Church Confessional

The next morning, Yuri found himself curled up on the couch in three layers of blanket. He couldn't remember how he had gotten there; he vaguely remembered going to get cereal, then feeling cold and dizzy.

Either way, his limbs ached far too much for him to be bothered with breakfast, so he stayed still and watched the moving blobs of color in front of him that made up the TV screen. Maybe he was watching Yo Gabba Gabba. Or maybe it was True Blood. He was honestly so dizzy he couldn't tell the difference.

Blair ventured from his room, hoping to cook. It would make him feel better, since he still wasn't a hundred percent. Instead, he found Yuri on the couch.

"What are you doing?" he asked, but his usual harsh tone was missing.

"Wha?" he asked after a second, blinking slowly. "Oh. It's you. Are you gonna mess with me and pick me up again? My head hurts, please don't."

He pulled the blankets up past his chin, shivering.

"Just maybe please turn up the heat, it's so cold..."

Of course Yuri had caught what he had had.

He swallowed, sitting down next to him.

"You won't remember anything, so I'm gonna talk to you," he replied solemnly.

"If you're gonna call me a faggot, that's kind of cheap, FYI," he grumbled, sniffling. "But I can't really stop you, so shoot, I guess."

He just smiled.

"I really do love you..." he sighed wistfully. "It feels good to get that off my chest...You'll want some water and I'll turn on the AC, for you."

Blair stood up, in a wonderful mood.

"You're a douchebag," he mumbled in reply, staring at the wall. "I hate that you always lie like that...why do you do it? I hate it so much."

"I'm not lying this time, Blair replied, smiling at Yuri. "I love you more than anything. You'll never remember this, trust me. It's just...nice to tell you."

He brushed Yuri's hair from his face.

"Let me get you that cold water."

"You dumped me," he moaned, closing his eyes as his head began to pound. "I still hate you...you're a liar, and you dumped me...I'm the one who likes you. You just don't care, because you're a jerk.

"So stop lying--even if I'm sick, it won't work."

He coughed loudly and shivered.

Blair returned with the promised water.

"I'll also make tea, for when you feel cold, again," he replied, smiling tenderly at him. He just wanted things to go back to how they had been, and it made his heart ache knowing Yuri would feel better eventually.

"It's rude to make fun of sick people," he grumbled half-heartedly, draining all the water in minutes.

"Do we have any pain killers? My everything hurts."

"Of course, sweetheart," he replied, kissing Yuri on the forehead. "I'll bake you anything you want for when you feel better~ Cupcakes or cake or cookies, or anything else."

Blair grabbed him painkillers and handed him two, then refilled the water glass.

"There you go. So, what shall I cook for you?"

"Nothing, I can do it myself," he said unconvincingly, flopping back down onto his belly and laying his empty glass on the floor. "I'm not the same weak baby I used to be."

"You know I bake better than you," he replied, chuckling. "I'll make you cupcakes, then."

"I don't want cupcakes, I want another kiss," he admitted, pouting. "I don't want your stupid food..."

He kissed Yuri on the forehead.

"You're sick, you'll just give it back to me, silly," he replied, smiling at him.

"You're a jerk, but I don't complain," he whined. "I really like you, you know. Even if you're a jerk. I still like you. I've liked you since high school. I jsut wanted you to know in case I freeze to death, so you can feel bad."

"I know, you feel like you're going to die, it's terrible," he touched Yuri's cheek, smiling. "But you know I really do like you, even if I can't tell you."

"If that's not a lie, you're an even bigger dick than I thought you were," he said honestly, placing his hand over Blair's anyway. "...Don't leave, okay?"
