Jealousy is for Chicks

"I don't care, Jojo, don't you think you at least owe me this much after everything you've put me through?" he insisted. He threw the fake mustache back at Joseph, wondering briefly where he had even gotten it from.

Caesar went to find his date, but upon looking found she was nowhere to be seen. After a few minutes he found her, but instead of cooperating, she threw his glass of wine in his face and yelled at him for somehow orchestrating this humiliation of hers. After he was unable to convince her that he had nothing to do with the crazy waiter, she threw his jacket at him and grabbed the bottle of wine he'd bought, slinking out the door and sobbing the entire time.

Caesar sighed deeply as he begrudgingly paid the bill for their uneaten meal (and that expensive wine he wouldn't even be enjoying). He was going to kill Joseph. If he so much as caught a glimpse of him for the next 24 hours, even during training, he would kill him.

Joseph sat on his bed, grumpily reading a comic book. He didn't give a rat's ass what Caesar said; this was his room, and he wasn't going anywhere. Besides, this was all Caesar's fault, anyway.

When Caesar finally returned to their room he was carrying multiple bags. He didn't acknowledge Joseph as he carefully set out things like candles and roses among the room. When he finished, the room was decorated with romantic lighting and the soft scent of roses filled the air. On the table were two wine glasses and a bottle of wine, as well as a plate of cheese, crackers, salami and fruits. He sat down at the table and poured the wine into the glasses.

"Come here, Jojo," he said, beckoning him over with his finger.

"Why, you gonna kick my ass?" he grumbled, scowling. "I'd like to see you try, shorty."

"I'm not that much shorter than you!" he snapped immediately. Then, he cleared his throat and sighed. "I figured out why you did that, today, you know. You're not the only one who is perceptive around here, Jojo."

He leaned forward on the table, leaning on his hand. "...come over here so we can talk."

Tossing the comic book on the floor, he awkwardly shuffled to the table and sat down across from Caesar. "What do you wanna talk about?" he asked, sipping his wine with the air of a pouty child. "...The roses and stuff look nice, I guess. If you're into that kind of stuff."

"Jojo...if you wanted a monogamous relationship, you should have asked," Caesar said gently as grabbed Joseph's hand so he could plant kisses on his palm. "There was no need to get jealous and make a scene."

Joseph scoffed awkwardly. "Me?! Jealous? As if, Caesar--don't get such a big head. Who would be jealous of all this...gushy bullshit? It's sickening, really." He did his best not to squirm as Caesar kissed him, but it was hard.

"If you weren't jealous, then explain to me, why were you so very cruel to my date today?" he asked, leaning back in his seat so he could sip his wine. He brushed his leg against Joseph's as he did so.

"...It's not my fault she was acting like a whore, okay? I was just looking out for you. You shouldn't get involved with women like that." He took another sip of his wine, ignoring the butterflies that were gathering in his stomach.

"Then what sort of women should I get involved with?" Caesar leaned forward, gently trailing his fingers across Joseph's thigh.

"You shouldn't," he replied, "You have shitty taste." He awkwardly shifted his thigh, praying Caesar would stop touching him. He didn't need to feel even more flustered at a time like this.

"Oh, so you do want me to stop fooling around with women," he rose an eyebrow, gently running his fingers over Joseph's knee. "Admit it, Jojo, you just want me all for yourself."

"...You said it yourself, we're just fooling around," he grumbled, pouting. "Nothing exclusive--that's how I like it. Plenty of freedom to go...to go fuck a bunch of chicks."

"Then what's the problem?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "If it's not exclusive, why am I not allowed to sleep with other women?"

"You just pick bad ones, is all," he insisted. "Besides...as if anyone could ever fall for you. That'd be pretty lame, don't you think? I pity the guy who does something that uncool..."

Caesar leaned forward and grabbed Joseph's cheeks, forcing him into a kiss.

"...I think that anyone who falls for me would be pretty lucky," he insisted, kissing him again. "I have women swooning over me every day, and each one of them would kill for the chance to have me...and yet, there's someone else entirely who's stolen my heart."

His face reddened. "...It's not that slut from tonight, is it?"

Caesar rolled his eyes.

"Are you going to make me spell it out?" he asked, brushing his lips against Joseph's cheek, and then his nose, and then his lips again.

"If you like me, why'd you date her?" he whined, trying to hide his pleasure and failing; his mouth formed a goofy grin before he could stop it. "Stop kissing me, it's annoying."

"Stop me," he challenged as he kissed Joseph again, not stopping for longer this time. He pulled away, and smiled at him. "I went on a date with her because..." he cleared his throat and looked away to hide the blush forming on his cheeks. "Well, you aren't interested in this sort of thing. So I had to find someone else to enjoy it with."

He slammed his hand on the table. "You could've asked, asshole! Just because I say I hate this doesn't mean I wouldn't do it--this is all your fault!"

"What the hell do you mean, my fault?" he snapped, pointing angrily at Joseph. "Are you forgetting that we agreed we were allowed to see other people? I didn't do anything wrong! Why would I ask you to do something you don't enjoy? I know how selfish you are' all you would've done is whine until I finally gave in and told you that you don't have to do it anymore."

"I hate this stuff like I hate you, Caesar!" he snapped. "I don't!"

"Then why the hell do you always say you hate it?!" he snapped back. "If you don't hate it, just say something, you colossal moron!"
