Church Bells

He waggled his hips.

"Or I can just make it worse."

"I would hate you forever!" He hissed.

"Then I guess I should fix it," he said eagerly.

"No." He said, but he was really losing his stubbornness.

"Come on," he cooed, "It would be so much faster. Nothing sinful, just a friend helping a friend relieve a small, completely normal problem."

"...And you won't ever, ever bring it up again?" He said quietly. "...right?"

He nodded.

"Of course--it never happened."

"...I...guess...it won't hurt, then..." He said, completely avoiding eye contact.

Priestly grinned broadly.

"Anything for my new partner."

Mars carefully straightened out his clothes, though he felt much more awkward than he had before. Somehow, forgetting the incident now seemed impossible.

"I need a drink of water," said Priestly simply, wiping some of the leftover white stuff off of his face. "Where do you keep the cups?"

He pointed to a cabinet.

"...In there." He said quietly.

He nodded.

"Thank you." Resisting the urge to say something along the lines of "You tasted nice", he got his drink of water silently.

Unable to take the awkward atmosphere anymore he said, "You want to see my house, right?"

Priestly beamed.

"Yes, yes I do~"

Somewhat relieved the subject had been changed, he stood up and stretched out slightly.

"It's about a five minute walk from here."

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!~" He said, walking closely behind Mars.

He frowned.

"Don't walk so close." He ordered, but aside from that, he took Priestly to his house, which was actually just a few minutes walk from there.

It was quite small, and when he led Priestly inside, it seemed even smaller. It was barren of anything personal, and all it had was the necessary supplies for living.

Priestly chuckled.

"...Yeah, I think you should move to my place."

He frowned.

"I'm not moving anywhere. I like it here." He said, offended. "I don't see what your problem is."

"This place can't fit the both of us unless we share a bed," he said brightly.

"You're not moving in with me, either!" He barked. "Why would you even think I'd let you?!"

"Because we're partners, of course--don't be silly, Marsy."

"I don't even know what you mean by 'partners' anyway!" He shouted, frustrated. "What is wrong with you?!"

He shrugged.

"...I don't have a stick up my ass?"
