Church Bells

He scooted closer, seeking warmth.

"...Priestly." He said, hoping to wake him up.

He opened one eye lazily.

"Yes?"

"...Can you let go of me?"

"Oh--oh!" he said, waking up. "Right, sorry..." He released Mars with an embarrassed smile.

Grumpily, Mars got up and trudged into his bathroom for a shower.

"Need help?" called Priestly from the bed.

"Go away!" He replied irritably.

He chuckled.

"That's not what you said last night--do I need to remind you?"

"That's the opposite of what I want!" He growled.

"Then you want to watch me touch myself?" he asked.

There was a crash as Mars kicked the cabinet.

"Just leave me alone!" He shouted back.

Sighing, Priestly followed him into the bathroom.

"What's got you in such a bad mood?"

Mars turned away from him quickly.

"...I just need time alone." He lied.

"Doesn't sound like it," he said with a shrug.

"I'm sure you'd know, considering how well you know me." He crossed his arms. "...Just leave me be."

He sighed.

"What's really wrong?"

"It's nothing! I don't need your help sorting out my problems!" He snapped. "I was perfectly fine on my own before you came along and ruined everything!"

"Explain," he said, genuinely interested.

"...Before you, I had all of these...urges...carefully maintained. I was perfectly fine. No trouble at all. I hardly ever thought about sex. But now..." He ran his hands through his hair. "...why can't I stop thinking about it...?"

"Your body has been deprived for a long time," he said thoughtfully. "The best thing is to pray to God and tell him how thankful you are that he gives you such an opportunity for pleasure and then indulge all of your sexual urges."

He just laughed humorlessly.

"I'd never do something so stupid."

"Are you calling me stupid?"

"Of course I am. You're ridiculous. I hate you." He tried to sound convincing, but the words were very hollow.
