"Later tonight, I need you to give me a sponge bath since I can't get my casts wet." He told her, smiling.

She sighed.

"...You neglected to mention zat in ze job description."

"I thought it was obvious." He said, frowning slightly. "I need to get clean. I haven't had a bath in days and it's disgusting."

She nodded, grimacing.

"Oui, I suppose I will do it. When would you like your, uh, sponge bath?"

"After dinner. You're going to cook for me, right?" He smiled an irresistibly cute smile.

She nodded.

"O-oui, though my cooking skills are currently rather simple. I only know what my maman taught me and what I learned from tv, but I can follow a cookbook."

"I have quite a few cookbooks, and plenty of food that my mother and father brought over." He told her.

She smiled, relieved.

"Ah, zis is very good...I shall have no problem, zen. Ah, vat do you like to eat?" She sat down on the chair next to his, crossing her ankles.

"I'll eat anything." He said truthfully. "So, whatever you'd like to make is fine with me."

She nodded.

"I will make you some French cuisine, zen."

"Prostitute food?" He asked, looking intrigued.

"No, no, excellent food!!"

"...Show me." He said, obviously weary.

"Well, haven't you ever seen crepes or quiche or foie gras?"

He nodded.

"My papa says it's prostitute food."

She sighed deeply.

"...Mister Datta, I do not constantly bring up ze facts zat ze British are boring, ugly and kinky freaks, so I would appreciate if you kept your stereotypes about my people to yourself."

He blinked.

"I'm not two of those things at all." He pointed out.

"...Which two?" he asked, twitching. "...On second thought, I am not sure I vant to know."

"Well, obviously, I'm not ugly or boring." He pointed to his face, as if that proved everything.

She sighed.

"If the French are prostitutes, then you are extremely ugly and boring."

He laughed.

"But that's impossible."

"Yes!" she exclaimed. "Finally, you get it! Not all British are ugly and boring, just as not all French are ze prostitute!"

"...You tell weird jokes." He told her.

Jacqueline groaned loudly.

"Apparently, all British are just stupid and insufferable--zen again, zey birthed ze Americans."

"Americans are stupid." He nodded. "I once had am American try to call me a wanker. It was funny because he had no accent."
