"Well. I guess you could help me on the job," he said, frowning. "I'll give you a taste of hell. And if, after all you've been through, you still want eternal damnation, hey--I'll give it to you. Free of charge."

"Deal!" He said brightly, smiling at him. There was no way he'd pass this up, and he was positive there was no way he'd change his mind. Judas would see, then; Judas would see just how serious he was about this. He'd see that Allon would do anything in his power to carry out God's will.

"So, when do we start?"

"Whenever," he said, shrugging. Then he smiled again. "Oh, as soon as you offer me everything I want--a place to stay, for example. I don't want to sleep naked outside, even if I can."

"You can come into the church whenever you please. Like I said, there's a spare room with a bed. It's not as comfortable as mine, but unless you want to share, it will have to do." He replied, smiling back at him. "I'll give you whatever you need, as long as it's within my power."

"You sleep in the spare room, and I'll take your bed," he snickered. "Why not? You're my minion now, so do as I say."

"I'm sorry, but this bed is big enough for two. I don't see why we can't just share it." He replied, smiling at him.

"I hate sharing," he said flatly, sticking out his tongue. "So go share a bed with yourself in the spare room. I command you."

He just laughed.

"Fine, fine. Only because I like you." He teased, smiling at him. "Well, if you're going to spend the night tonight, I guess your clothes can wait until tomorrow? It might take all night for them to dry, anyway."

"Yeah, sure," he said, shrugging. "As long as you don't have a problem with a naked man sleeping in your bed."

He chuckled to himself, mostly because, spoilers, Allon is kind of a fag.

"Oh, no, that's fine. I'll just wash my sheets." He laughed to himself again, finding the whole situation to be rather hilarious.

Judas just stared at him before shrugging.

"You're kind of a vampire-fag, you know that? Quit it."

He looked rather surprised.

"Me? I am? How?" He asked, resisting the urge to invasively poke his hands into Judas's mouth and feel for fangs.

"You're a faggot for vampires," he explained. "It's annoying and stupid. You should stop."

"Well...I don't know how to stop." He replied, even though he did. He just didn't want to stop. "I mean, I'm not doing anything, really."

He felt his hands twitch.

"...do you have fangs? Can I see inside your mouth?"

"Yes and no," he said, crawling under the covers. He frowned.

"How the hell am I gonna keep warm? You have a crappy bed."

"I'll sleep next to you, keep you warm with my body heat." He replied brightly. "You don't mind, right?"

He sighed happily. This was such a dream come true. Eventually, Judas would turn him, and his life would be complete. He would bounty hunt and bring down criminals the police couldn't catch without help. It'd be perfect. Perfect.

"I do mind," he said, rolling his eyes. "But whatever. Just know I can snap your spine at any moment."

"So, I can sleep next to you?" He asked, already preparing to invade Judas's personal space.

"...Sure," he grumbled, obviously irritated. "Whatever the fuck you like. Just keep in mind that tomorrow begins a long and harrowing journey in which I'll turn your fucking world upside-down. This shit is real like Vietnam." He crossed his arms behind his head, mainly so Allon couldn't reach his hands.

"Hopefully, it'll finally get something into that thick brain of yours. I can't believe we've been talking for more than ten minutes and you still wanna live forever--what a dumbass."

((So, where should we skip to? One of their missions, maybe? Or just when Judas tries to kill Allon?))

"So," said Judas, dusting off his hands, "That's twelve criminals we've bagged. Two years. I told you you'd have that long--now, tell me your decision." He grinned cockily; this last criminal had been a complete bitch to catch. They had gotten filthy, tired and exhausted only to lose him time and time again. There was no way Allon still wanted to do this for eternity.

Judas reclined on Allon's bed, sighing contentedly.

"And remember, unless you kill people, you die," he added. "Because vampires are murderers by nature--that's why I'm a faster. Do you want that? Eternal starvation and hunger? I didn't think so."

"Yes." He replied, with all the confidence he had had since day one. Though catching criminals wasn't a picnic, it was good, rewarding work and he loved it. It was his true calling. He had found his true calling, finally. "I still want to be turned."

He sat down on the bed next to Judas, grinning at him.

"I can just eat the criminals...feeding from them won't kill them, and no doubt the police will simply ignore the pleas of a criminal they've been trying to catch for years." He sighed contently. "It will all work out according to God's plan."

Judas grimaced, letting out a slow, agonized breath. Fuck this kid; he was never going to learn, was he? Apparently there was only one way out of this.

He smiled up at Allon, though it didn't reach his eyes.

"Yeah, I guess you've earned it, huh? Let me see your neck. Time to say goodbye to daylight and garlic and all that jazz, eh?"

He moved his hair out of the way, tilting his head eagerly.

"It'll hurt, right?" He asked, looking at him, grinning excitedly.

"No," he said pleasantly, sitting up. "It'll feel like...slipping away. Falling asleep. Then, when you wake up, you'll be a real vampire." He licked his teeth.

"Now, let's go--I've been waiting to do this since I met you. Are you ready?" He climbed onto Allon's lap and kissed his neck teasingly. "It'll feel just like that, I'm sure."

He squirmed slightly, but not because he was apprehensive about the situation. It was mostly because he didn't want to get an awkward boner while Judas was on his lap. That would probably ruin things.

"That sounds too good to be true." He said bluntly. "I can handle it, don't lie to me, Judas."
