"Maybe," Alexei admitted. "I've done a lot of 'worse stuff' in my life. What, specifically, are you talking about?"

"Men," he replied. "I do things with men. Wanna hear details, you'll get me another drink--something strong, please."

He almost laughed, but somehow he didn't think it was.

"Well, so do I," he replied honestly. He mixed Beau another drink anyway. "Here. If you don't want to tell me, don't. But, I'm willing to listen."

He downed the drink.

"I fuck guys. Guys I don't know well. When I'm smashed." He raked a hand through his hair, sighing. "Don't know why. Don't wanna know."

Alexei looked him over, noticing his obviously tense posture. He could say a million things, but he knew whatever he said had to be just right.

"Well..." he began, leaning over the bar so he could better look Beau in the eyes. "So long as you use protection and are safe about it, I know I certainly don't mind. It's a totally normal thing, you know. A lot of men are attracted to other men. You don't have to be gay, either."

He rolled his eyes.

"The definition of 'faggot' is 'a guy who fucks other guys.' The fuck're you talking about?"

Alexei chuckled.

"Oh, don't be silly," he replied, waving his hand. "I've slept with many straight men. It just so happens that sometimes even straight men are attracted to other men. Though...I can't speak for you, of course." He smiled warmly. "It's all very relative. I hope I'm not rambling."

"Why are you telling me this?" he asked, massaging his temples. "Are you hitting on me, or what? If you're making fun of me, I'll kick your fucking ass..." He sighed, and seemed far too tired to do any such thing.

"Oh, no, I'm not teasing you," Alexei replied, shaking his head. "I certainly hope it didn't sound like I was. I simply mean that...well, it doesn't matter what you do, it only matters how you define yourself. Does that make sense, or are you too drunk?" he teased lightly, setting a hand on Beau's arm.

Beau grabbed his wrist and pulled him into a kiss on the lips.

"...Is that what you wanted?" he grumbled.

For a moment, Alexei was truly surprised. Then, he chuckled, pulling away from Beau in case he decided to kiss him again. Something he suspected was probably not a great sign.

"No, actually," he replied honestly, smiling once more, though he looked slightly less comfortable. "I only want what you want, but...perhaps it's time for you to head home, hm?"

"Yeah," he mumbled, embarrassed. "Whatever..."

He stood up and promptly slammed into the counter, having momentarily forgotten how to support his own weight.

Alexei frowned.

"Never mind, why don't you lay down in my bed instead? Sleep it off."

"I'm fine!" he groaned unconvincingly. "What the hell ever--I can drive home just fine."

"No, really, stay with me tonight," he insisted, moving from behind the bar. He touched Beau on the back, gently moving him towards the stairs. "Don't make me carry you."

"You couldn't carry me if you tried," he mumbled, moving along anyway. "...You smell nice."

Alexei laughed softly.

"Don't push your luck," he replied, helping him up the stairs. He moved him towards his bed, which was rather large for a single man.

"Isn't this gay?" He mumbled, leaning against Alexei.

"Only if you want it to be," Alexei teased lightly as he forced Beau to lay on his bed. "I'll sleep on the couch okay?"

"Do you have to?"

"Do I have to what?" he asked, sitting on the edge of the bed.

"...Sleep on the couch," he mumbled.

"Where else would I sleep, silly?" he laughed quietly, though he had a feeling he knew where this was going.

"...Here," he said, scooting toward the edge of the bed to make room.

He sighed slightly, but he kicked off his shoes and crawled into the bed.

"There. Now are you happy?" he asked, looking over at Beau.
