I'll Be The Hero!

"You're so beautiful," he sighed, stroking his hair. "And now we can go get ice cream~"

Bera frowned.

"I'm on a strict diet, I'm afraid."

He sighed dreamily.

"That's okay--you can watch me eat."

He shook his head.

"No food I'm afraid. None at all."

"...You can't even look at food?" he asked, frowning. "...Well, that's okay! We can just go for a walk together and hold hands~"

"I dislike holding hands, though we can go for a five minute walk." He informed him.

Hiro grinned, far too enthusiastic about it.

"Then let's go--you can wear my coat if you don't have anything else."

He laughed and quickly dressed in a tight fitting suit.

"Just let me brush my hair."

He nodded, already pulling his fundoshi back on.

"I'll wait, sweetums~"

Bera pulled out a brush and began to run it through his long, light colored hair.

Hiro watched him admiringly as he pulled on his tacky suit.

When he finished, he smiled at Hiro.

"Shall we go?"

He nodded.

"You want my coat, or should I wear it, my betrothed?~"

Bera looked at it.

"Can I set it on fire?"

He nodded.

"If that gets you hot, baby~"

Bera took the coat, shoved it into a bathtub and lit it on fire.

"Now we can go."

Hiro grinned, escorting Bera outside by the arm.

"I know just where we should walk!" he exclaimed eagerly.

Bera chuckled, taking out a cigarette and lighting it.

"Is that so?"

He picked up Bera and began sprinting out of the red light district.

"There's an awesome park this way!"

Bera yelped.

"I can walk on my own, really, put me down before I break your bones!"

He shook his head.

"You can break my bones if you want to, but this is faster!"

Bera painfully hit him in the chest, then crossed his arms.

"I'm never going anywhere with you again!" He spat.

He slowed down, but they were already standing in the park he'd described.

"...I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you angry."

Bera straightened out his suit, hitting Hiro again for good measure.

"Do not pick me up! I am to be handled delicately!"

He rubbed his chest, hanging his head.

"I'm sorry...what can I do to make up for it?"
