WHY WAS IT SO HARD TO NAME THIS GUY

She shrugged.

"The internet. But mostly your phone calls--you're really loud on the phone. Also, I go through your texts."

"But, you can't..."

"Can't what? Of course I can hear you on the phone, Theo--I'm blind, not deaf." She attempted to cross her arm-stubs and failed.

"...Stop listening to me while I'm on the phone."

"Stop talking so loud the other person can hear you without a phone," she countered. "But I don't mean that really--your conversations are interesting."

He blushed suddenly.

"...I assure you they aren't."

"Yes they are--I don't understand most of it, but that's why I like them."

"...Really, stop listening."

"Then stop texting them naughty pictures."

"What did you just say?" He asked sternly.

"You text them bad things. Things that friends don't text friends. I've seen your phone."

"But, you're..."

"Say it, out loud."

"...blind."

"Well, there's no need to be a jerk about it," she replied, pouting. "It's not like I'm illiterate just because I can't see."

"...But shouldn't you be?"

"Well, I never!" she exclaimed. "You're so insensitive sometimes, Theo--I'm blind, not retarded!!"

He shrugged.

"We have work today."

"I have no limbs."

"I know. But we need money for more blood."

"Then you have to carry me all day."

He sighed slightly, but he was smiling.

"Okay. I will."

She lifted her arms, stretching.

"Youuuuu should pick out a pretty dress for me to wear."

"It will have to have short sleeves, so no coats." He said, looking sort of sad about that. "I can't put much jewelry on you, either."

"It's not my fault your threw away my limbs," she said, shrugging. "Be nicer with your toys."
