WHY WAS IT SO HARD TO NAME THIS GUY

"I wish I had died so you would've felt bad," she replied, pouting. "...You gonna throw away my arms and legs?"

He just shook his head, obviously disappointed.

"I'm going out tomorrow, too." He said, cleaning up the body parts. "For the entire day. As your punishment."

She glared.

"Then I'll just go eat people at the police station and tell them it was all your fault."

"Don't make me tie you down before I leave, Vani." He was only half joking.

"I'd chew through the ropes," she bluffed miserably.

"Why can't you be good to me like I'm good to you?" He said, a tinge of sadness in his voice.

Vani avoided his eyes.

"...I never leave your side."

"I know, Vani. I know." He sighed. "But I'm different than you. I have different needs. Please try to understand."

"If I turned you, would you have the same needs?"

He smiled slightly, knowing that wasn't possible.

"No, Vani. I would still have different needs."

"Then you're not good to me either," she replied bitterly.

"I'm going to have to go out on my room whether you approve or not. I'm sorry." He apologized, but he didn't sound very sorry at all.

"You're not sorry--just ashamed of me. Well I don't care--you left, so I killed myself."

"If I was ashamed of you, I would have left for good." He said simply. "Don't be silly."

She pouted.

"...Then hug me, 'cuz I can't do it until I have arms again."

"I don't think you deserve hugs until you regrow your limbs." He said simply.

She glared.

"Fine, then--stick the old ones back on, it's faster."

"They're too devoid of blood to fuse back, now." He said. "You'll just have to wait."

Pouting, she toppled over onto her side, attempting to roll away.

"You suck egg salad, Theo--you're supposed to treat women better than this."

"I'll treat you like you deserve to be treated." He said simply. "If you want help up, you'll have to ask."

"I don't want help up, I want a hug," she insisted, rolling around blindly at an agonizingly slow pace. "Also, I need blood or I'll freeze when my body tries to heal itself."

"Maybe you should have thought about this before you decided to ruin my perfectly clean house." He said, sounding rather like an upset mother.

"Maybe you should have thought about your perfectly clean house before you left me alone in it."

"I expected you to act like a decent young lady."

"Decent young ladies wear dresses--I'm naked," she replied, as if that solved everything.
