It's Just A Flesh Wound!

From just outside the medical tent there was a large ruckus, which started rather suddenly.

"I'm telling you, I don't need any fucking stitches!" Shouted a rather young sounding voice. Finally, the owner of the voice was shoved into the medical tent, nurses dragging him by his arms.

"You stupid bitches!" He spat, struggling still. "Stop fucking dragging me, my fucking stomach is fine! It'll heal on it's own, let me get back to the front line, you stupid whores!"

Doctor Marius Goettinger looked up from his clipboard, adjusting his monocle so he could better see his new patient.

Wow, he was a cutie.

"Set him on the far bed, ladies," he commanded. "I can't have him disturbing the other patients. In reality he just wanted some privacy with the man, but it was his job to make that kind of thing sound professional and legit.

After much more struggling and at least one overturned cot (luckily it hadn't been inhabited), one very unhappy Hagen Feldt was sitting on the far bed.

He was seething with rage, and he would have had his arms crossed if not for his obviously wounded chest and abdomen. Once he was somewhat more calm, it was rather obvious he was in pain from the way his face was distorted.

Marius hurried to his side, bringing his tray of supplies.

"And how are we doing today?~" he asked brightly.

Predictably, he spazzed out. He flipped the tray over in his anger.

"How the fuck do you think I'm doing!?" He exclaimed. "I should be out fighting those fucking Russkies, but no, I barely get hit with any shrapnel and now I'm here, wasting my fucking time getting patched up when I could still be fighting!"

He smiled sympathetically, patting Hagen lightly on the head.

"Now, now, don't get worked up--you'll bleed to death faster." He kneeled so he was at Hagen's level before whispering, "I could sedate you...but I'd be too tempted to use you for fun. So I'd prefer if we could avoid that."

He was already in the middle of shouting, "Ha! Bleed to death?! I can't fucking die!" When the last part of the sentence sunk in.

"...wait." He said, finally acting civil. "What did you just say?"

"I said that I've been working in this medic tent for weeks and I'm in desperate need of some...company. If you aren't good, your might just forcibly become that company--I'm not normally picky, either, but you're a very attractive specimen."

Slowly, Hagen's confused expression melted into a grin.

"Sooo." He said, grinning like the little boy he was on the inside. "If you're thinking what I think I'm thinking, maybe we should go out for drinks tonight. Or, you know, just skip that crap and retire to one of our tents."

He shook his head, though he smiled.

"I would love to...but really, you're not leaving this tent for at least a night. You're bleeding profusely from a key area."

He threw up his arms.

"Ar you fucking kidding me?! I'm perfectly fine!" He shouted, glaring at the doctor. "You're a fucking douche. You're worse than those whore nurses."

"Shhhh, shhh," he whispered gently. "But I can offer you a compromise."

He crossed his arms before he realized how much pain that caused him. He let out a rather unmanly whimper before he hastily uncrossed them.

"F-fine, what is it, Doctor?" He hissed, mostly out of embarrassment.

"If you're a good patient, and you rest and let me patch you up...I might take you our for some air, later." He glanced around, making sure no one was listening. "And if you were to receive some mild stimulation during our walk, well--I suppose these things happen."

He leaned back, grinning.

"Okay, okay, fine. Deal." He decided, almost crossing his arms again before he quickly remembered how that ended last time.

"Now please relax, gorgeous," he cooed, picking up his instruments from the floor.

"Yeah, yeah." He replied, rolling his eyes. "But seriously, do I have to rest? I hate sitting for long periods of time, it's fuckin' annoying. Besides, I can totally walk; my fucking legs aren't broken."

"But you have to heal up, cupcake, and the best way to do that is rest."

"Feh." He replied, frowning deeply. "You had better be damn good to make me rest all fucking day. I'm gonna be bored as fuck."

He giggled, dipping a rag into some water.

"Come on now, be thankful--I'm being a good doctor and not making you satisfy me."

He rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, what the fuck ever. Just hurry up, I'm sick of sitting here bleeding everywhere."

He proceeded to carefully clean the wound and then stitch it up, working as quickly and efficiently as a good sewing machine.

As he did so, Hagen gripped the edge of the bed, biting his lip in addition to that in order to stop his unmanly whimpering. Getting stitched up hurt more than actually receiving the wound in the first place.

Marius admired his work for a few minutes before he kissed Hagen on the cheek.

"They'll bring you some food shortly, dear--see you tonight~"

He rolled his eyes, laying down on the cot.

"Yeah, whatever. You better not have lied to me."
