That night, Marius returned to Hagen's bedside as promised.

"How are we doing now, sweetie?"

Hagen sat up, yawning.

"Bored. As. Fuck." He responded dryly. "My legs are sore, too. I fucking hate 'resting'. Waste of my time."

Then hurry and get up, I want to see your orgasm face," he said bluntly, holding out his hand.

He chuckled to himself as he got up, stretching out as best as he could with his injured abdomen.

"Where are we going, exactly, anyway?"

"My personal tent," he replied with a smile. "It's not far from here."

He shrugged.

"You got a roommate or what?" He asked curiously.

He snorted.

"I'm the head medic."

"Feh. You're fucking lucky." He replied. "I have to kick my roommate out whenever I want a lay."

"Really? You do that even in the army?" he asked, leading Hagen outside.

"Hey, I got needs." He replied simply. "Plus, the ladies fucking love me. Especially the nurses. Well, when I'm not their patient, anyway."

"Ladies?" he asked, looking disappointed.

"Well, duh." He said condescendingly. "All of the soldiers around here are jackasses. They all think I'm some sort of ass. But those pussies usually go home with posttraumatic, so fuck them anyway. I don't wanna screw someone who's half crazy."

"...Oh. Perhaps I've made a mistake." He stopped in his tracks, frowning.

He stopped as well, about a step ahead.

"What? Something I said?" He asked, cocking his head to the side. "'cause if it is, you might as well explain."

Marius frowned thoughtfully, adjusting his monocle.

"Well, I'm not quite sure what this is anymore, but I was under the impression I was doing my cute new patient a favor that I could hopefully exchange for a dinner-date later. Perhaps this is just a desperate sexual exercise--but if it is, I certainly wasn't aware."

He laughed.

"Wait, you actually wanted a date from me?" He was highly amused, as his huge grin signified. "No one's asked me on a date. Ever. You obviously don't know me well. But, fuck, that's actually kind of a tempting idea."

He smiled shyly.

"You mean it? Even though I'm a man?"

He grinned wider.

"Well, hey, what do I have to lose? It's not like the fuckin' gossip about me can get any worse, right?" He laughed to himself.

"Oh, but you do find me attractive, right?" he asked, moving closer. "To be quite clear about my intentions, I want much more than a one night stand."

"What do you think?" He rolled his eyes. "If you were fucking ugly, I would have never agreed."

"Oh, but you can be a little sweeter, can't you?~" he pleaded. "Don't break my heart before even the first date..."

He grinned.

"You're such a woman." He remarked, groping Marius's behind. "But you do have a nice ass."

He grinned, regretfully pushing Hagen away.

"Now, now--none of that where people can see. I have to get you to my tent."

He laughed.

"Yeah, yeah. Hurry up then, or I'll do something worse."

Marius ushered Hagen into his tent, smiling dreamily all the while.

"Onto the bed, dear, onto the bed--you'll exert yourself less if you're laying down."
