For Lack Of A Better Tittle: NUNS!

She stepped into the bathroom and quickly changed out of her nun clothes. She really didn't like them. She felt much better in her regular clothes; a dark blue blouse with ruffles and a short skirt, with tights beneath it of course. Then, dress shoes. She redid her hair so that it was in a high ponytail instead of a bun. It felt so good to get it off her neck.

She folded her other clothes and moved back into the main room, placing them in her bag.

"Alright! Let's go eat."

"You look amazing," he said with a grin. "I like ponytails on you--they're very becoming."

"Don't you even think about it." She replied sternly, hitting him on the arm. "I'm still a child of the Lord, so keep your thoughts to yourself."

She walked out of the room, heading back towards the car.

"Okay, my first question is...How did you become, uhm, whatever you call yourself? Not a priest, but, you know."

He smiled, opening the door for her.

"Dear, we're all children of the Lord--that's why he wants to see us happy and learning and procreating, just like he intended. As for my job, well..." He slid into the driver's seat and started the car. "Let's just say I had a special dream during a very dark time in my life. And the Lord told me that I should help rid his beautiful world of evil, so I set out to do it."

"Wow, really?" She asked, smiling widely as she sat down next to him in the car. This was so cool. "So, then, how long have you been doing this?"

Priestly paused, thinking for a moment.

"Well...I'll tell you I'm twenty two, so let's just say a while." He laughed jovially.

"Oh. You're really young." She replied, frowning suddenly. She was an entire year older than him. "...Anyway, uh, just one more question."

"Yes, then it's my turn," he said, winking. "You interest me."

"Can I come with you?" She asked, avoiding looking at him for once. "I mean, uh, I just really want to get away from my life...I think I'd rather do what you do; it feels like that's what I'm supposed to do, so..."

He blinked, completely surprised by that question.

"Well...the thing you should know is, I've never before really gone hunting with anyone I wasn't involved with."

She frowned suddenly.

"...Oh. I suppose the answer is no, then?" She sighed, looking terribly awkward. "Never mind, then."

"No, the answer is yes," he said. "I only hope it isn't awkward--concealing my crush will be more difficult this way."

"But...what?" She asked, confused. She looked over at him, puzzled. "But, I thought, and then you..."

"I have nothing against traveling with you," he said. "On the contrary, the problem is more of that I'd love to travel with you, and I'm hoping any feelings I may harbor don't put you off the whole thing. Even if my desires remain woefully unrequited, I'd love to still be friends."

"...Oh." Now she knew what he meant. "...That's...fine. Yes. Perfectly fine. We can be friends."

She knew it wasn't really fine; it seemed kind of jerkish to travel with him knowing he liked her but only stay friends. But she really, really wanted to go.

He grinned.

"Are you sure we can't be more? Relationships can be as physical or as celibate as one likes, you know--personally, I think God wants all his children to be happy and have lots of sex, but if you'd rather just hold hands that's fine too.

"What's important is the fact that I want you. I'd look after you and treat you right. I'm told I'm quite the affectionate and caring lover."

She looked away, fiddling with her rosary.

"...I don't believe you. You're just saying that so I'll sleep with you. The Sisters have all told me about men like you." She sighed. "And here I thought you were actually nice."

He laughed.

"Being sexually active doesn't make me a rapist--I will never force myself on you, ever. I swear as a servant of the Lord." He pulled out his rosary, kissing it before making the sign of the cross.

"The only way I'll sleep with you is if you want it."

"That's even worse." She grumbled quietly. "...I'll still go with you, though."

Priestly laughed again.

"Why, are you implying you want me? If that's the truth, you should say yes and let me hold your hand."

"No! Of course that's not what I meant!" She snapped angrily, feeling her face turn redder. "You're stupid."

"Can I still hold your hand?"

"No, don't touch me, you're a dummy." She insisted stubbornly.

He grinned.

"Wow, mean words for a nun. What happened to good will towards men?"

"Well, it's true!" She insisted, flushing red. "...just talk about something else."
