"As long as it isn't opened, I'll drink it."

He gave a slight nod and tossed him an unopened bottle of water, popping his back out and grabbing himself a beer. "Alrighty. So I wanna know. What bring you to that bar?" He asked, loosening his tie.

Wolfly opened it after some struggling, then looked up at Cain.

"Oh, well...Marl wanted to go home with some guy...He wanted me to do the same thing, but...I didn't want to, and he forced me into it..." He sighed.

"Riveting." He chuckled, pulling off his suit jacket and seating himself onto the couch. "Ah well. Nice to have met you, all the same--life's been pretty fuckin' boring."

Wolfly awkwardly sat next to him.

"Yeah...My life sucks..."

"Can't quite say the same, but I definitely know how you feel." He nodded slightly, sighing. "...And I sure as hell could tell."

He sighed.

"I just hope my dad comes back for me soon..."

"What's he like?" He asked, idly.

He frowned.

"...I...don't know. He's cool...I guess..."

He sighed softly. "...You've never met him, huh?"

Wolfly turned red.

"...But I know he's going to come, okay?"

He made a slight sigh, shaking his head. "...If you really believe that, then alright."

"But it's true!" He insisted, standing up. "It has to be true, okay?"

"...Alright." He said, softly, serious.

Wolfly was unconvinced, but he sat back down.

"...fine." He said reluctantly.

"I'm sorry, Wolfly." He said softly.

He sighed heavily, pulling his knees to his chest.

"...it's stupid, anyway."

"I... know. But sometimes it's all... all we have." He muttered softly.

He glanced over at Cain.

"Y-you know how I feel..."

"How could I not?" He sighed. "Haven't got myself a very good homelife either."

He shrugged slightly.

"I guess that makes sense..."

"Just... know I understand."

"Understand what...?"

"The feeling of being on your own in the world."

Wolfly sunk his head into his knees.

"...I just...I'm not really alone, but I am."
