"It doesn't matter, I still don't want you starting rumors about me!" He snapped, frowning. "So just...forget about it."

"Blair, who is going to believe a word out of my mouth?" he continued, unimpressed. "Wasn't that the reason you wanted to fuck me in the first place? Because I'm the only person who couldn't tell on you?" He crossed his arms and sighed.

"I'm not really angry or anything, really, I'm not--I can see why you did it and everything. I said yes, too--it was my choice, I wanted to do it. But I think I deserve a little credit, if only for being an immense social failure. You don't think college changed my friend count, do you? The only thing that's gotten more impressive about me is my doll collection."

He sighed.

"Look...I'm sorry, then." He said, more quietly. "...I just don't trust anyone, anymore. Don't take it personally."

He sighed again, running his hands through his hair.

"Because you know all about betrayal," he replied flatly, raising an eyebrow. "If you can't trust the kid without friends, who can you trust?"

"...I didn't expect you to understand." He said simply. "Just let it go."

"Do you trust me, or don't you?" pressed Yuri, frowning vacantly. "I can never tell with you. If we aren't friends, what the hell are we?"

Blair wasn't sure, actually. What were they? Blair knew what he wanted them to be, though that was far different from what they actually were.

"...Being friends isn't enough to make me trust you." He said truthfully. "It takes a lot more than that."

"Like what?" he asked, frowning. "I take it it's not sex."

"Much, much more than that." He said, mostly to himself.

"Then explain."

Blair shook his head. He just wanted to retreat into the kitchen, bake something, not think about relationships.

Yuri sighed deeply.

"Whatever. I just wish you'd say that you don't like me already."

"What?" He asked, genuinely confused. "I like you though."

"What do you want from me, then?"
