Who Ya Gonna Call?!

"...I'll get dressed." He shrugged and walked to his room, yawning. "You have no manners, by the way--it's not even 7 am."

"I didn't sleep last night, sorry." He told him.

"No excuse!" he said brightly, stripping out of his pajamas as he walked.

"It wasn't even for a good reason!" He whined. "I was up because they wouldn't shut up!"

"But the issue still stands--only sex partners are allowed to wake me up this early." He pulled on pants, tut-tutting all the while.

He frowned.

"Are you asking me to have sex with you?"

He smirked, waggling his eyebrows. "Only if you want t--augh, no, I'm going with you to that orchard."

"'cause I'd be okay with that." He replied cheerily. "I mean, after you save my peaches."

Priestly nodded.

"Seems like a good reward--just lead me to the orchard." He dusted off his jacket and pulled on a pair of shoes. "I'm ready."

"It's kind of a long walk..." He admitted sheepishly. "But they got to my truck, so I didn't have a choice..."

He shrugged, smiling sheepishly in return.

"I can't drive."

He shrugged.

"Walking it is~"

"So, how long of a walk we talking?" He locked the front door behind them, stretching.

"A few miles into the country." He shrugged. "As long as they don't find me first..."

"Really, why are they after you?" he asked, sticking his hands into his pockets.

He shrugged, beginning the long walk.

"I wish I knew..."

"And whoever 'they' are...they look like peaches...?"

"Yup! Which is why I didn't notice them for a while...But then I heard whispering...And I thought I was going crazy...I might still be, but these things...They're like peaches...with wings!" He indeed sounded crazy as he waved his arms to illustrate his point.

He gave him an odd look.

"...Just curious, when was the last time you dropped acid?"

He sighed heavily.

"I've never touched drugs in my life!"

"You sure?" he asked. "There's no shame in it."

He blushed slightly.

"Well...Maybe once or twice..." He rubbed the back of his head. "Or at parties every Friday..."

He grinned.

"See, there we go--when was the last time, kiddo?"

"But that has nothing to do with it!" He replied hastily. "And I'm not a kid!"

He shrugged.

"I call everyone kiddo."
