"Good." He replied quietly. "That's...good."

"Dress nice," he said simply, putting bread into the toaster. "Be ready around seven o' clock. Can you handle that?"

"Yes. Why am I dressing nice?" He wondered, though he suddenly felt giddy and excited.

"You're supposed to dress up for dates," he said matter-of-factly. "...Or was that supposed to be an insult?..."

"It's not like I've ever been on a date!" He replied before realizing he probably shouldn't have said anything to Priestly.

Priestly grinned.

"Oh really, now? Then I guess I'll have to give you the time of your life, huh?"

He smiled weakly.

"Sure..."

Priestly pulled Mars into a hug, gently stroking his hair.

"Don't be nervous; I'll take care of everything, alright?"

Mars nodded slowly, though he was still nervous.

"Come on," he said brightly, "Breakfast is all ready."

He smiled a bit.

"Good, because I'm hungry."

Kissing Mars on the forehead, priestly heaped two plates with food and set them on the table, gesturing for Mars to sit down with him.

He did just that, slicking his hair back as he got ready to eat.

"Be sure to eat lots," he said cheerfully once Mars had taken a bite. "I loaded it with date-rape drugs and you'll need a good amount in your system before I can do anything."

For once, he just glared.

"It's not funny."

"Hey, you knew I was joking!!" he exclaimed, beaming. "You're learning, Mars Bar!~"

"...Only because if you weren't, I'd have to kill you." He replied, glaring still.

"How could you kill me? You'd be all complacent and drugged up," he said, still smiling pleasantly.

He frowned.

"...I'd just have to kill you later." Then he realized, "Why are we even discussing this? It's not like you'd ever do that, anyway."

Priestly nodded.

"Correct; I'm not desperate, I'm sexy and virile."

Mars just nodded, despite the fact that he didn't care too much about the topic. He continued to eat to distract himself.

He frowned.

"Come on, Mars, don't you agree? Or do you not find me attractive?"

"...You're a man. So, not particularly." He fibbed. Of course, he was quite attracted to Priestly, but Priestly definitely did not need to know that. Otherwise, who knew how he'd react?

He shook his head.

"No, as a man, a person even--do you think I'm hot? Come on, you don't have to be gay to know that someone of your sex is attractive."

He frowned slightly and his face turned slightly redder.

"Well, you're not...ugly."
