I HATE YOU I LOVE YOU

"I would have to buy a new copy." He said simply. "Now I think I am going to sleep, as I have nothing better to do."

Merlin yanked on his hair, frowning.

"No. I don't like you at all."

"If I stay up any later, I might resort to having sex with you, just to entertain myself." He informed him.

"Like I'd let you," he retorted. "You really are gay, though, aren't you?..."

"I'm not attracted to either gender." He said simply. "Even if I was, I certainly wouldn't be attracted to you."

"And why is that?!" he snapped, obviously affected by his words.

"You're not overly attractive. Your features are plain, at best."

Merlin punched him in the face.

"Look who's talking. Asshole."

Without warning, Hesekiel leapt onto Merlin and pinned him to the floor. He was baring his sharp teeth, until he realized what he had done.

"I'm sorry." He said, still on top of Merlin.

Merlin kicked him in the crotch.

"Worst. Assistant. Ever. Get the fuck off of me."

In response to the violence, he grabbed Merlin by the neck, bearing his fangs yet again.

Merlin kicked him again, trying to shove him off; due to this thin build, it wasn't very effective.

He snarled, his grip on Merlin's neck fluctuating from tight to loose. After a few moments, Hesekiel managed to pry himself away, retreating to his bed and covering himself with the blankets.

Merlin laughed harshly, rubbing his neck.

"All werewolves like this? Or just the stupid ones?"

For once, Hesekiel made no snappy remark. All that answered Merlin was silence.

Sniffing, Merlin returned to his bed. Man, that guy had nerve.

After a few moments, Hesekiel came out from beneath his blankets, but only so he could lay down, facing the wall.

"If you start masturbating, I will drag you out of here and barricade you out," he called irritably.

Finally, he spoke again.

"You won't have to worry about that."

"Even you find yourself too ugly?" He chuckled at the burn.

"I simply don't have the need, being a werewolf. We mate for life." He didn't bother explaining what that meant. He doubted it would ever be relevant again.

"Ooooh, how special," he said sarcastically. "Honestly, do you have any personality?"

"I did." He shrugged ever so slightly.

"But something scarring happened, you retreated into your shell--I honestly don't give a rip. Just don't annoy me."

"You're the one who threw my book." He pointed out. "Will you bring me my book, or do I have to get it myself?"
