Love And Life And Demon Hunting

Priestly sat up, sitting with his legs spread. The robe didn't help to cover much.

"Of course. I'll do everything in my power to make your stay comfortable, Father."

He closed his eyes, looking away.

"...Never mind, I think I'll leave after all." He said, changing his mind for about the 700th time that day.

"Now, what are your preferred ghost hunting methods?" he asked, ignoring Mars's "decision."

Mars glanced over at him, but soon decided to look away again.

"...I don't have any. I've never done this before."

He beamed. Virgins were always the best, in his opinion. Though not sexual virgins--they were actually kind of awkward. It was the experienced men he craved...the older, refined gentleman with an experienced touch. The men who knew every trick in the book and then some...

He blinked, coming out of his erotic trance. That had been close; he had started to get hard.

"I'll lead you through it, don't worry--ghost hunting can be easy. I'd be delighted to help."

"Good, then tomorrow you can teach me, when we get rid of my ghost problem." He coughed, shifting his position. "Well, I'm glad that's settled; I'll leave you to, ah, whatever it is you do."

Honestly, Mars just wanted to get out of there; this situation was entirely too awkward for his tastes. It was really only awkward because he found Priestly incredibly attractive, however. If he didn't, he wouldn't mind nearly as much. But, unfortunately, the ghost hunter who passed through had to be super hot. He figured he would go home, pray, and take a nice, hot long bath and try to forget about Priestly until the next day.

"But help from another Priest would be wonderful," he insisted, clasping Mars's hands. They were soft and warm, he noticed; he imagined them running over hot, sweaty flesh in the heat of passion. "The more spiritual energy we combine, the more smoothly the exorcism will go--don't you want to protect this town?" He met Mars's eyes with complete seriousness, and for once his thoughts didn't stray toward the sexual; they remained firmly grounded in that moment, in the town and the sea and Mars's green, green eyes.

Cyprus frowned, averting his eyes almost immediately. That had been...strange. He was never one for making eye contact, anyway; it was much, much too personal and he was always afraid one day someone would look into his eyes and realize he was just a sinner.

"Of course I do," he said after a few moments of regaining his composure, "which is why you'll have to teach me things tomorrow."

"Excellent," he said. "We'll watch late night TV and make merry tonight."

He frowned deeply. No, this was definitely not the situation he wanted to be in.

"No, tonight I'm going to go home and get well rested, just like you are." He replied, wrinkling his nose in distaste at the mention of late night TV. "Thus, I'll have to leave now."

"But you promised to stay," he insisted, breaking out the puppy eyes. Priestly couldn't help it. Though he couldn't say whether or not he truly intended to sleep with this man, he knew that he wanted him. Mars was gorgeous, just old enough to be interesting--the exact type of man that Priestly craved above all others.

He frowned even more deeply. God, not those eyes. He groaned, shaking his head and rubbing his forehead.

"...Only if you put on more clothes." He insisted, with finality.

"I don't have any," he replied brightly.

"Yes you do!" He snapped, making brief eye contact with Priestly. "You were wearing some today! Just put those on, or something! For Gosh's sake, put on something to cover yourself up!"

"They're in the wash," he replied evasively. "Besides, I generally sleep in the mood--I'm attempting to be courteous just for you, Father." He winked, barely restraining himself from licking his lips. He couldn't stop thinking about Mars's skin, how smooth his stomach would be to the touch.

He furrowed his eyebrows.

"...if you insist on staying like this, I'll insist on leaving." He pointed out. "Besides, I really should go; I can't sleep here, and I would rather not walk home in the dark."

"Are you inviting me to your house?" he asked hopefully. "The beds here are rather uncomfortable, but it's the best I can afford at present."

"Of course I'm not inviting you to my house!" He said, surprised. "Not with you dressed like that, that's for certain."

"I'll change if we can spend the night together at your house, sure--what a lovely offer, Mars."

"That's not my name." He said, before he realized the other part of that was far more important. "And no, I did not offer that! You can't spend the night at my house ever! Especially not now; you haven't even done anything to gain my trust."

Ah, yes, now he had an idea.

"Perhaps I would let you, if you manage to get rid of the ghost."

He frowned, biting his lip.

"...I don't know, father. It sounds like it would be easy for you to take advantage of me with a deal like that."

"Are you calling me an untrustworthy person?" He placed a hand on his hip, and he rose a blond eyebrow. "I'm offended. But, fine, if you don't want to accept my offer, then I'll just leave."

"Have sex with me, and I'll fix your ghost problem," he said thoughtfully. "You love your town, right? You want to save it?"

Oh, this was definitely not turning out how he had thought it would.

"...excuse me." It wasn't even a question; he was too completely shocked by the words to even raise his tone. Once he finally processed everything, he wrinkled his nose in disgust. False disgust, but he couldn't, of course, just say yes.

"I thought I already told you; I'm not a homosexual." He said, glaring at Priestly. "Furthermore, if that's your price, I may as well take it upon myself to fix the ghost problem and save myself the loss of dignity for prostituting myself out to the likes of you."

"A date, then," he said. "You're right--sex isn't a bargaining tool. When we sleep together, I'll give you the option to say no."
