"You're indecent." He remarked, almost immediately. "I sure hope you're wearing something beneath that, because if you aren't, I'll gladly wait out here until you are."

He swallowed somewhat nervously, forcing himself to keep his eyes on Priestly's face.

He laughed.

"Of course I am, Father Mars."

"...Good." He said, stepping inside, trying not to think too hard about the situation. "Now, I did some research and honestly, I couldn't find anything good. What do you know?"

Priestly shut the door behind Mars, grinning broadly; his hair was damp, clean and slicked down for once. Without all the dye, it was a dark, honeyish blond. He sat on the bed, gesturing for Mars to join him.

"Well, Mars, it could be a number of things, but I have my suspicions--one in particular seems the most likely."

He refused, instead pulling up a chair from the table.

"Your hair looks nice like this." He commented, before he realized how incredibly awkward that was to say. He winced slightly, and cleared his throat, "Never mind. What one in particular do you think it is?"

"Thank you very much," he said, scooting closer to Mars. "I think I prefer it crazy, though--it has more personality that way. But if you like it like this, I can keep it natural for a while."

"The thing that's killing people," Cyprus reiterated, trying to forget about the entire stupid comment about his hair. "What do you think it is?"

"Tell you what," he said slyly, "I'll tell you what I think it is in exchange for one kiss. Anywhere you'd like, too."

First, he turned deathly pale, and then his face turned extremely red.

"E-excuse me?!" He exclaimed, standing up. "This is not a joke, you...do you even know what's going on around here, or are you just messing around with me?! Because I don't have time for this stupid little game of yours, if that's the case! I have people in this town I want to save, and if you're going to distract me from that, then I am going to cut you out of my life right here and now."

"Guess number one is demons, but that's not quite what we're looking for," he said calmly. "Come now--aren't I at least average? I'm sure you can kiss me just once."

Mars put his hand on his hips.

"I'm not a homosexual." He hissed, glaring down at him. "And beyond that, this is so much more important than you getting a stupid little kiss from me right now, do you understand that? What you need to do is just tell me what you know, so we can fix it."

"You want help for free?" he asked, frowning. "But you vehemently deny our friendship."

"We barely even know each other." He said, honestly perplexed. "What do you want me to say? Fine, we're friends now, are you happy?"

He stomped his foot impatiently, brushing his hair back behind his ear.

"If that's all you wanted to hear, then please, tell me what we do now."

"Come lay down with me," he said, beckoning Mars closer.

He just gave him a look, which summed up pretty much exactly what he was thinking; "No, bitch, we have a mystery to be solving".

"I don't have time for this." He replied dryly, heading for the door.

"Ghost," he called, smiling softly.

Sighing heavily, Mars turned back to look at Priestly.

"Then how do we put it to rest?" He asked, somewhat more composed than a few moments ago. The more straightforward answers he got, the better mood Mars was in.

"I could tell you," he said, "but I'd love if you'd spend the night so we could talk more. It's lengthy to describe."

"Only if you put on more clothes and stop coming on to me," he replied, crossing his arms. "Otherwise, I'm leaving right now, and I'm finding out on my own."

"I haven't been coming onto you," he said, surprised. "...Are you requesting it?"

"Oh, come on!" He exclaimed, annoyed beyond belief. "How can you even say that you aren't coming on to me! And it's incredibly inappropriate of you, too; I'm a man of God, and I have decided to be celibate."

He glared at him.

"Now are you going to put on more clothes...or not?"

"That depends on whether or not you're spending the night," he said. "I'm going to change into my pajamas sometime later. Come now, why won't you stay? I have refreshments, and I promise I'm good company--whether you want a chat or a cuddle or sex. Not that I'm implying you want any of those in particular."

"The only thing I want from you is information." He insisted, despite that being a slight lie on his part. "So, unless that's what you plan on giving me, then I'm wasting my time here. How many times do I have to say that before you understand?"

Despite this, Mars returned to his chair and sat down, sitting with his legs crossed. He swept his hair out of his face, brushing it away from his huge scar briefly.

"I'll tell you all you want to hear over the course of the night," he insisted. "So stay. Relax."

He sighed.

"...Fine, you win. I'll stay." He decided, crossing his arms. "Just don't do anything that will make me want to leave, and I'll stay for as long as you'd like."
