"Aren't you going to eat as well?" he asked, concerned. "If you're worried about portions, you can eat what you will from my plate."

"I'm fine, I already asked Mrs. Wilson to make me my usual; coffee and boiled eggs." He smiled slightly; how he loved eggs. "You focus on eating yourself so we can leave."

"Do they have anything with strawberries?" he asked, placing his hand on Mars's leg again. "Ah! I'll have the waffles with fresh strawberries. That sounds marvelous."

He groaned, but decided to just ignore it. He flagged over Mrs. Wilson and ordered for Priestly, as she set down water for Priestly and coffee for Mars.

"If you need anything else, just let me know, Father~" She said, smiling at him softly.

Cyprus coughed, looking away. "Right. Now, down to business." He said, turning to Priestly again.

He gasped with surprise.

"Marsy! We can't do that here--there are children in this diner."

"...what." He said, completely confused. "What are you talking about?"

"If you want that, you'll simply have to wait," he said, patting Mars's thigh. "Not that I mind. Ah, our food is here! You can try some of mine, if you wish."

He just continued to stare at Priestly, dumbfounded.

"B-but...what?" He asked, again. "All I want is to talk about the case!"

"Talking is generally hard during such activities," he said as he ate a strawberry in the most sexual manner possible. "But if that's really what you want...I suppose I'll oblige. We can talk at my hotel, sound fair?"

He groaned loudly, sighing afterwards.

"Yes, fine, fine." He agreed, begrudgingly.

Once that affair was taken care of, finally started to mix sugar and cream into his coffee, making it an extremely light brown in color. He took a sip, and then took a bite from one of the shelled, boiled eggs. Gosh, did he love boiled eggs.

"Are you sure you're fine with only eggs?" he asked. "Your fluids must taste strange...'

"Excuse me, but I don't think my health is any of your concern." He replied bitchily, finishing his egg and taking a long sip of his coffee.

"Ah, sorry...that comes later, right?" His hand slipped higher on Mars's leg, just below his hips.

Unfortunately, this caused Mars to spit out his coffee everywhere; all over the table, and most definitely over his nice, white dress shirt.

For a few moments, he just sat there, quietly, and calmly, setting down his coffee cup. Then, he kind of snapped, standing up and exiting the restaurant immediately, pacing outside, then coming back inside and walking up to Mrs. Wilson, saying, "I'm so sorry, please, let me clean up the mess."

Priestly was already wiping down the table with a wet rag he had asked for.

"Feeling better?" he asked Mars, scrubbing the coffee off of the seats. "You seemed panicked."

Mars glared at him, biting his lip.

"I'm leaving." He said crossly. "You can pay for the meal, you heathen."

Priestly frowned, looking honestly disappointed.

"Oh. I was going to anyway, but I was hoping we could continue our chat...alas. I suppose it was nice meeting you, Father." He bowed his head respectfully.

Mars turned to leave, but he sighed again, turning back around, composing himself again. He hated to do this, but he really wanted to know if this man knew anything.

"...Look, if you have information, I'll just come meet you at your hotel. Where are you staying and what's the room number?"

"The motel on the edge of town--it's kind of run-down. Do you know the place I'm talking about? I think it's the Deluxe Seaside. Only, it's not very near the sea and none of the people staying there seem to be sailors--merely lots women in less than dignified clothing."

"...I know the place." He said, his face paling. "...Why are you staying there? There are plenty of much, much better hotels to stay at. But...just give me your room number."

He laughed. "It was the first motel I came across, and it was cheap--I was tired. In any case, I'm in room 221. I'll see you there tonight, maybe?"

"...Yes." He decided. "Around 6 or 7."

He nodded. "Yes, around 7."

He clapped his hands.

"Excellent! I'll be ready by then." He winked flirtatiously.

After doing quite a bit of book research, Mars finally made his way down to the hotel. He had put on a new, nicer suit. Not to impress or show up Priestly, of course.

He knocked on the door, sighing slightly. He wondered what progress Priestly had made.

Priestly answered the door, wearing a loosely fastened bathrobe.

"Glad you could make it," he said, leaning against the doorway. "You look sharp."
