"Are you sure...?" He asked cautiously. "I don't want anything to happen to you, and since it's my fault, I'll take care of you and everything. It's fine."

Mars didn't believe him, but that was fine. He hadn't expected Priestly to, anyway,

He frowned deeply.

"That's the only way I require," he replied with a smile.

"You can't even drink water without my help." He insisted. "So there."

"Here goes nothing," he said, slowly getting up out of bed. He steadied himself, grinning. "Piece of cake."

Mars sighed.

"...Just be careful, okay?" He said. "If you need anything, just call for me, alright?"

He waved his hand in the wrong direction.

"Mars, I'll be fine." He took a tentative step toward the wall, reaching out his hand.

Mars couldn't help it, he wanted to help Priestly.

"A-are you sure?" He asked, quietly moving closer to Priestly just in case.

"Are you sure you won't trade handjobs?" he replied, taking another few steps toward the wall. He smiled. "I think I'm getting the hang of this."

"Well...good." He said quietly, trailing behind him. He was so worried, what if Priestly hurt himself even more? Then it would be doubly his fault.

Mars panicked and pulled him into an inconspicuous sudden hug.

"This is a weird time for a hug, Mars," he said, hugging him back anyway. "Is this your way of saying you've changed your mind about the handjob?"

"Of course I haven't changed my mind about that!" He snapped. He was attempting to correct Priestly so that he faced the right direction, so as to not run into a wall.

"Mars, why are we turning? Forcing a blind person into a wall isn't funny."

"I would never do that!" He snapped, releasing Priestly so he wasn't facing the wall. "Fine, I won't look out for you anymore!"

He laughed.
