Priestly frowned, genuinely hurt.

"...Why can't you ever come to like me?"

"Because...you tempt me into things like...this." He said just as quietly.

"Didn't you want this?..." he asked quietly.

Mars covered his face with his hands, trying to hide his tears.

"...I don't know, anymore..."

"...Look at me, Mars."

Mars shook his head, trying to wipe away his tears. He felt stupid and embarrassed but above all, he felt confused.

Priestly gently wiped away some of Mars's tears with his hand, holding him even closer and more tightly.

"...Mars, I'm sorry."

"...I need to go home." He decided suddenly.

He refused to relinquish his hold.

"...Are you just going to leave me? Just like that?"

"...I'll come back." He sounded unsure of himself, however.

"...Even one night is too long, eh?"

He sighed heavily.

"...I just...Don't know." He mumbled helplessly. "...I think I just need time..."

"Promise on your life you'll come back," he said flatly.

"...I promise." He said softly.

Priestly pulled him into a long, passionate kiss.

Despite everything, Mars kissed back.

Shuffling his feet, a twenty-four year old Cyprus felt quite strange standing on the doorway to the house he had lived in as a teenager. Well, he had only lived in it for a little bit, but it seemed more important than anywhere else he'd ever lived. It hadn't occurred to him that Priestly might not even live there anymore, because to him, he felt like barely even time had passed. He was still young, so he was fairly oblivious to how much he'd changed.

He knocked on the door and adjusted his ponytail as he waited.

After he had been waiting about an hour, a black car pulled up to the house; out stepped a barely recognizable man wearing simple black clothes and a lot of jewelry.

"...Mars?" said Priestly, completely surprised. "...You actually came back?"

"Priestly!" He called cheerfully, hiding the cigarette he had been smoking to pass the time.

"...Why does my house smell like cigarettes?" he asked, placing his hands on his hips.
